Yes, similar situations happened with Poe1.

As a disclaimer, im not in any way claiming that you are doing something fishy. This may be a false positive or just a bug which coincidentally has similar effects on accounts. But it was definitely a thing lol.

Thank you for the link, it's an interesting method of dealing with scammers.

I dug through my memories and remembered that even before an external site for item trading was created, not to mention the official one, I used a macro that repeated a message about a sale in the trade chat, changing the channel from 1 to 50, for example. Sometimes this macro malfunctioned, and I would end up spamming several messages in one chat, which would result in a temporary ban, and I couldn’t send messages for a while. But I’m not sure if this would be considered a violation of the rules, as far as I know, people who used logout macros didn’t get banned.

When I played the PoE1, I didn’t notice any lowered chances, so it would be strange to get ban in the new game.

the only logical explanation. aslo looked at the 15page topic from 2013 and it make sense. the problem is that i was not botting or using any macros or whatever they flag my acc for soft ban. it sucks since i paid to play this game i have this problem since level 1. the only "fix" is to wait for support to check my account from GGG team. and because they are busy with thousands of tickets i will probably have to wait weeks or month. ehhh...

Considering that the big players of this black market have been opting for direct private messsages for advertising (if you are not aware dummy accounts sometimes will dm random people about their currency site), it probably means that the conventional method of spamming global chat was problematic. Which leads me to believe that yes, repeatedly posting messages in chat could potentially flag accounts.

Yep exactly same. I did 20 or so t14+ rare maps today mostly irridiated maps. Not 1 or drop but lots of ONLY regal shards. Probably dropped 60 exalts in almost 200 hes while my mates dropped almost 1000 and 8 divs...same level and same play time.

The support team replied, but unfortunately, their response didn't clarify the situation. They said they don’t have that information, apologized, and suggested posting my situation on the forum in the hope that someone from the community knows more. Perhaps the developers will notice my thread and be able to explain why this is happening. That's the situation.

thats very bad news. if this is true then i see no hope for my account to fix this and any reason to play the game anymore. sad :(

My account got fixed but it had to be done by GGG support.

I checked it on my account, after going through several maps, even the scroll of wisdom did not drop. Unfortunately, nothing changed for me.
