If you hit escape and then restart at checkpoint, hit yes, and then immediately hit escape again. This should pause the game and you take no damage. It then places you back at the last checkpoint. I have done this many times.
This time I was met with that message. Please if you aren't a dev. Don't comment you opinion. They can see what happened and look into if this is a bug. You cannot.
Even if it is... Like I said. It's extremely unlikely they'll restore your character. People have died to far worse, actual recorded bugs, and they weren't restored.
So I suggested you not wait, and make another character. That was all.
I know it's frustrating, but what can you do...

In fact, the more replies, the more likely it will be read and checked, and promptly fixed. Since the more replies, implies a lot more people experienced the same bug, and it gives them incentive to check it out quicker.
Unfortunately... It's frustrating I know, but go play on a new character while you wait.
I mean literally when your making a HC character they say any death is permanent.
It still hurts to lose a character like that so people tend to be unwilling to accept it. Especially if they spent a lot of time on it. So they will try to have it restored.

Right. And that is fine if it is permanent. However, I posted this in the bug forum to have them look into it. Not get some opinionated players to tell me what I should or should not do.
If it is a bug and they fix it, it makes the game better for everyone. So go take your opinion to the forum for discussion and not bugs.

That's what we're addressing, not the bug that got your character killed.

I am not that angry lol. Just sucks to die to something out of your control.
Not to a boss or one shot mechanic etc.
I have already made another character. That is not the issue, my only issue is, dying to something that is bug related or a glitch of the game. That should be restore worthy. If people are bitching about their own internet or a one shot mechanic they dont think is fair, I agree. They should cry more.
