HC Character sent to Standard League

Hello Support,
My character name is ChefGermoXIII. My character did not die in HC mode. Here is the scenario. Fighting Viper in act 3 and right before the poison arrows hit I reset to last checkpoint. However, in the loading screen I was met with "this character is not in this league anymore." I think this was a bug as I still had over 75% health and realized my character was not ready for the fight. Reset to get better gear. Why would my character be sent to Standard? I have done this before with no issue. Please place my character back in HC. Thank you! Last bumped on Dec 31, 2024, 3:01:13 PM

You can put me back to where I need to kill her again. You can see, I switched gear to what I wanted. Killed her with ease.

Start a new character. <- Best advice
Even if what you say really happened, and even if you have proof, I don't believe they'll undo it. In all likelihood you died during that transition between you clicking respawn to checkpoint, and the loading screen. |

If you hit escape and then restart at checkpoint, hit yes, and then immediately hit escape again. This should pause the game and you take no damage. It then places you back at the last checkpoint. I have done this many times.
This time I was met with that message. Please if you aren't a dev. Don't comment you opinion. They can see what happened and look into if this is a bug. You cannot. |

Not once in the history of PoE a character has been revived. They say so when you make a HC character. It won’t be restored. Cry more.

" Even if it is... Like I said. It's extremely unlikely they'll restore your character. People have died to far worse, actual recorded bugs, and they weren't restored. So I suggested you not wait, and make another character. That was all. I know it's frustrating, but what can you do... Us commenting won't take away from your post. In fact, the more replies, the more likely it will be read and checked, and promptly fixed. Since the more replies, implies a lot more people experienced the same bug, and it gives them incentive to check it out quicker. Unfortunately... It's frustrating I know, but go play on a new character while you wait. |

Right. And that is fine if it is permanent. However, I posted this in the bug forum to have them look into it. Not get some opinionated players to tell me what I should or should not do.
If it is a bug and they fix it, it makes the game better for everyone. So go take your opinion to the forum for discussion and not bugs. |
