The enemy can block your movement. There are few ways to avoid it other than dodge rolling. I think this is inferior to PoE.

I respectfully disagree. I think monster collision is an interesting mechanic that forces you to think ahead to not put yourself in a poor position.

Never play Ritual or Delirium? Understandable.

Facts.

I love being pushed around for 2 seconds waiting for monsters to spawn from the little deli mirrors.
there's some quite complicated deep rooted problems in the design that are going to force them to make some big changes. do OP high end clear speed builds still have a place in the game? if not then prepare for quite possibly some of most aggressive nerfing the industry has ever seen, followed by reworking mob speed, density and damage to accommodate the "intended" playstyle. don't be surprised if this ends up unintentionally vastly reducing the build diversity. players when they feel underpowered start to zero in on the few remaining abilities that are still comfortable, and many just leave due to that stagnation, or the noticeable loss of power on their builds.

certain sources of power, automated power like cast on X, clearly they didn't like that being strong, why even have it in the game then? butchering it for 90% of the people using it is worse than simply never adding it in the first place, because now it's just takes up UI space and reminds players how limited there choices are. uniques seem to vary from useless to enabling broken builds, not a lot in-between, is that intentional or also need fixing. magic find problems? you'd think they would have learnt something from their previous game about player driven economies. i'll throw in the chimera boss fight as a personal pet peeve, why does it spend most of the fight flying around completely un-targetable?

there's debate about whether or not the game will pivot further into poe2 style or back towards poe1. my prediction is they'll pivot into poe2 and then they'll realise that every update they add new skills, weapons and classes. they have to nuke about 20 jungroan builds. in the process they'll damage a lot of lower end builds aswell, it will be too much damage to player retention just for the sake of balance and then they'll pivot back into poe1 style.

i loved poe 1, played hundred of hours.

my disappointment with poe 2 is unfathomable. everything is so tedious, the build variety is so limited, the difficulty reeks of insecurity like 'if our game isnt hard we wont be taken seriously'. respawn enemies on death just wastes time nothing else. cant run past enemies to group because no movespeed or dash, enemies are faster than me, even 3 common enemies can kill not to mention staggering. cant get better gear from drops or shops, no crafting. builds are getting nerfed but so many skills are still unplayable bait. boss fights would be cool if getting one shot or swarmed by adds wasnt inevitable. the spirit system sucks being gated behind huge attribute reqs sucks network sucks dodge roll sucks the game sucks. i cant say enough bad things about this game and almost no good things(nice graphics and jiggle physics you frauds). and we dont even need to talk about the microshop but you couldve carried over guild tabs.

tldr slow, unfun, low creativity, overcompensating difficulty

I DID have a lot of fun on my first play through because I went in totally blind and avoided all sources of information. But it slowly went downhill when I reached the boring endgame.

I have played both. Getting pushed by the mobs that spawn from the mirror is stupid, I would agree. That has nothing to do with movement though (mostly because they should change how the spawn works.

Ritual's problem is that sometimes where the ritual was placed was not great. However, when monsters spawn in it, they don't do it immediately, so you have a moment to move back. Getting away from the center of a ritual at the very start is usually a good idea.

Please do not assume things about other people's gameplay with zero information. You could easily be wrong, as you were just now.
Referencing mobs respawning after your deaths means you are on the campaign. That you are dying on the campaign leads me to two conclusions. You haven't upgraded your gear and you have no resistances. Yes, even phys resistance is going to be useful during the campaign as a lot of bosses are heavy with that damage type. Instead of full evasion armor you could try the armor/evasion hybrid.

You need learn how to use the trade site, where you can acquire a weapon and gear that will help you with your specific needs. You also need to understand the incoming damage types and adjust your gear if necessary. This isn't POE 1 you are going to do much better when you stop ignoring your defenses.

I don't experience any of your issues during the campaign. It's not an issue of your skill, it seems you aren't even trying at all and expect to be able to clear content. Use the tools and defenses available to you to prolong your character's life.
