Stop pandering to nvidia

Fk them. The time of nvidia is over. Its causing the rest of us to suffer.

How buggy this game is on a Radeon 7900XTX is astounding. And no, I'm not a novice, it's not an issue on my end, I've tested everything I can, it's just quite buggy on Radeon cards.
I have a Nvidia 4080 and the game crashes and has tons of other issues I’ve never had anything like this on any other game. It’s been the worst most unstable game I’ve ever played by a HUGE margin. So, it’s just bad development work it’s not AMD/Nvidia.

Im not a really fussy guy either, so believe me it’s really bad. For example, I played cyberpunk 2077 (on my previous, much crappier rig) and thought “why are all of these crybabies whining about stability and performance? It’s not that big of a deal that it has some visual issues you can restart when they happen or a crash every 4-6 hours of play” this game is pretty much random glitches, stuttering, freezes, and it will totally crash at least once an hour in maps.

I experienced some issues thru the campaign but it’s been a lot worse in maps.

I’m playing fine, to the limits of my card, with an Intel A770. Around 80/90 fps all topped up and with XeSS at the best possible quality.

I do have an issue when I stream it, either with obs in twitch or in discord just for friends. My stream is really choppy, losing frames here and there, no matter what the resolution I use. Funny enough, it’s the only game that has this issue and I play some heavy cpu/gpu dependent games. I still haven’t figured out what it is.
I was just discussing this with my friends the past few days.

This is the only game with fps drops below 144 fps and general graphics bugs on my 7800XT. And I'm not playing on high graphics and only on 1080p because I simply can't get used to large screens and resolutions.

It is inexcusable that it performs THIS badly when it's just a ported engine. PoE1 performs perfectly. So does everything else, and I've run benchmarks and stress tests and I KNOW my setup is fine.

GGG coding at its finest. It seems to be completely random too, probably has to do with effects like burning and ground effects, as I've noticed that I can run the EXACT same map layout (for example, Woodlands) and one map will be running at 144fps and the other will be at like 70. Hideout is a consistent 144.
Still waiting for GGG to admit that they made mistakes and actually work on fixing them.

You'll find me when pigs start flying.

3060 (not ti). Stable 60fps, not updated graphics.

Only graphical issue I've seen in the game is that the texture for the very first explosion you have in a session is a red square. But other then that, everything seems fine.
4090, not a single crash or graphical problem or performance problem of any kind. Still have map-screen loading, which is kinda insane tbh.

What is buggy? I use a 7900xtx and I don't think I've noticed anything broken graphics wise.

Weird. Must be a hardware thing. Like specific setups are really floundering for no apparent reason. What else do you have? I am using ryzen 79503xD water cooled, ddr5 ram, Rtx 4080, nvme ssds. Load screens are fine/acceptable at least for my system but I’ll get frequent crashes and system stuttering that seems to have no specific cause and once it starts it doesn’t stop until the inevitable crash or by reloading the client. I have never had any issues with any other games on my rig so it’s definitely a poe2 specific problem. Not sure what else to try. Changing/lowering settings doesn’t fix the issues either. Any differences possible between steam and standalone client?
4060 on an i9-13900 and I can only get 55 fps in a good day, stable "60" is out of the question.

When breaches open, I have to pray for it to not run on 20fps. When my herald of ice procs and blows all of the screen, stutter again.

Every single setting is on low by the way, if they are set to defaults everything is stuttering.

And no there's nothing "wrong" with my machine, every other single game or any of the 3d software etc that I use ( which rendering deems them way more demanding ) is running absolutely fine.

So it's not a radeon vs nvidia or intel or anything, the engine needs some adjustments I believe, but the problem is that every single reply is too varied by the looks of it so it might not even be easy to figure out what's going on.

I've also never seen any other game over-utilizing the cpu rather than the gpu this much, so the problem might be somewhere there in the way it handles multithreading.

Edit: on a further note my crashes stopped when I "downscaled" the max render resolution. I've set it to 50% which is the lowest.
