I have never felt less rewarded for my time in a game.

OP for reference can you really outline where you're at ingame?

I'm 88 monk, started day 1 but didn't know POE. Still figured out gear and trading early on. I stayed with everyone pretty much till mapping and bought ok mapping gear worth a ton today. But its trash and I'm level 88 dying all the time. I'm dyying all the time because I keep stacking the maps harder and harder because the rewards are so bad and I can't afford a big upgrade I need.

I've completed atlas so I've beaten atleast 10+ 15s but more but again I have no sustain.

Of all the ones, I got jack of squat. Then I push atlas difficulties and everything. Thats why I'm on the forums. 3 days of nothing pushing the "hardest" content like what am I doing wrong? Shouldn't a level 88 pushing rare deliriumed t15s content be able to make some ingame $$$ per hour to improve my stuff?

I have to just set down the game, I missed the boat. I think RMT and the tradebot network has heavily influenced your ability to progress in any meaningful way.

Also 2k HP 2k shields 80% evade, overmax resists should be enough... but not for all the bullcrap on the ground. Don't go melee. It was stupid of me.

When it comes to economy, it was the same in PoE1. I really don't care personaly; but the problem isn't drop rate or bots. The problem is that you have 10S of MF groups that will print more currency in a day than a tryhard solo player in a year.

.

It's weird how some people vehemently denied how strong the influence these groups have in the economy, and now it's painfully obvious for everyone to see.

This is strong evidence that balancing drops based on trade was and always will be a bad choice, and it will only get worse the slower the game is, as that slowness clearly doesn't really affect such groups.

In my opinion, i always thought SSF should have its own balance, and this development just reinforces that.

I'm in this post and I don't like it.

How much magic find do I need to get in this group I have 78% now on me.

We will need your social security number and social/bank credit score. We'll then proceed to an interview to know how much time you can play in a day.
If it match you'll go in trials and we come back to you after.
I go to poetrade and for just 1 ex I find items better by miles from what I find on the ground, it's sad. I wonder why good items are so cheap if they don't drop at all...

I was playing more than 8 hours a day. I have my third ascendancy. I've completed atlas main quest. My gear is like entry level mapping gear but its worth a few divines because its all resist etc.

I have felt like I just need to be let into whatever the "club" is. Kind of get my knighthood from a group of players where I can do indebted servitude for gear. I'm good for it. My first few audiences with the king goes plus interest.

Loot will never feel meaningful in this game until t5 rares drop in abundance. Till then we are forced back into the poe1 formula of being pigeonholed into the highest div / hr strategies to buy upgrades.

They said they wanted people to actually use crafting currency more, or they feel like they failed, so hopefully they actually stick to that promise and revisit it.

Yes, that target was comletely missed and will, in trade, probably always be missed. Therefore they need to introduce an SSF Mode which gives better loot. Also trade is scuffed, because of RMT, cross trading, try hard group farming, flippping pseudo buisness man hide Out Warriors etc. etc. etc. ...

SSF mode with better loot! This is the way!

I'm ready for SSF with improved loot. Just let me play the game in peace and upgrade stuff myself.

Just one thing, if you play on maps, almost 30% of rares will drop you an exalt.
Saying you only dropped 10 is bullshit.

You can drop more than 10 only on the campaign.
You lying dude.

If you say so. I had that experience on my sorc on low tier maps last week. In the last few days on my ranger I've had an entirely opposite, unrewarding experience. That being said I finally got a few exalts to drop in the last hour.
