Remove xp dead penalty please

give us 3 portals and a merchant in the dungeon to clear your bags or stash

no xp penalty and make that the casual server

all people happy i just cant understand whats the problem with that

every one can play on there own lvl and learn the game.

Remove xp dead penalty please doesnt at anything to the game but only frustration and when the map( and loot) also is gone when you die its double punishment

its a freaking game to have fun not to get frustrated

Make diffrent servers

one for the elite's like the servers are now and one for the casuals

abit easier and no dead penalty and with 6 portals where you can die.

all people happy

now you going to create content for a select group of gamers the rest dont see the end bosses


There will always be a difference in opinion across different people. You may not enjoy it but some others will since its not a mindless zoom and loot anymore since if you die, you lose the map. It's a game and the term "fun" is subjective. While I don't necessarily disagree with your gripes, at the very least, you need to learn what mob a and b does, who hurts and who does not. Boss attacks are well telegraphed and there is a pause if you need a quick inhale and exhale. Skill tree lacks defensive option, at lease in my case since I play as sorc but despite that, I am magic finding in t15,16 and t17 maps with 300%+ rarity and haven't had any problems since I supplement something for that lack of defense node near my area. Sure, exp is a bit slow in POE 2 since we are in EA and are limited on what we can put on map but at level 95, I can say that reaching level 100 is not really that hard if you put a bit of effort to learn.
please remove xp penalty loss. I cant stand loosing 15-30min lifetime each time I die in the game. If I just die twice in 1 hour i just completly wasted my life in that hour.

I dont care about the map loss but the xp I loose equals lifetime spent to gain that xp. You already loose the map run and the map mods (boss, breach,...) on that waypoint. Please find some other penalty instead of XP. Thank you.

No - this is like a UFC fighter getting his thumbs broken as punishment for losing the match.
I kinda like it but they do have to increase of drops maps. Losing XP kind of adds a challenge but losing the map and having no maps sucks.
I spent 3 months on level 89. Today I was 5 % away from level 90. Finally, I thought.
But no. Two maps in a row with Bahlak, the Storm-Soaked and I am back to 67%

I feel it is unfair that I have to spend so much time to gain xp with meaningless loot only to lose everything in two fights.

They need to either balance this penalty compared to gain or just remove it altogether. Or make it a penalty when losing all attempts on a map. If I wanted a stressful game I would play Elden Ring.

I have more than enough stress in life. Gaming is a safe space to relax and enjoy something in this life. To be something more than just another cog of someone else enrichment.

first of all,xp rate is too low. They want you to fill 20 bars to get level, once you die, you lose 2 bars, use omen (price is 10ex) atm.


I've been playing games for 40 years. I can say with absolute certainty that the XP penalty is archaic and outdated.

This talk about "POE isn't for everyone" is nonsense. How many bots have a level 100 on line? And how many bots are online charging to level others? Okay...

am poe1 player for more than 11 years. and diablo 1 and 2 players for more than 25 years. maybe, i started on ARPG and hack and slash before the developer borns. So...

stay a while, and listen to the old man.

Removing the XP loss is beneficial. If you don't want to remove the XP penalty, do the same system as the Untainted Paradise map. Create a system where the player has the choice between gaining XP or loot... In this case, if the player gives up the loot for 100 or 200 maps in exchange for not losing XP upon death and continuing to level, that's his problem.

As I said, the year is 2025. Enough with the backward ideas.

I don't agree as it will make all defense affixes worthless but if you do you will need to double the level cap.

Otherwise, if you want to water down and kill a game to cater to casuals just play Diablo. Its already been dumbed down to worthlessness

In case some people don't know, much more simpler games such as Torchlight 2 have pet selling features which is making player's life much better in many ways.
