POE 2 "Travel East" Final Quest ACT 1 - Bugged

When I was playing my game for the first time 2-3 weeks ago or so, I also had this issue. I simply teleported back to Normal Act 1 from Normal Act 2 and pressed "Follow the Beast" again. That solved it, I even checked my first character and it is indeed market as completed. I didn't have this issue on Cruel.

However, on my second character I started a week ago or so, when I teleported back, the option "Follow the Beast" is missing. I tried some strange solutions people recommended on the internet, but nothing worked so far.

That's what you're supposed to do by default. You won't progress, unless you talk to him. Unfortunately, I'm in Normal Act 3 and it's still not completed.

The quest is supposed to close as soon as you reach Vastiri Outskirts.

Mine didnt close out when reaching the Outskirts. Still showed the quest in Act 1. I Couldnt directly teleport to the Caravan, I needed to actually walk to it.

I FIXED IT FOR ME! Just open a map/complete in the last town after completing act 3 cruel in The Ziggurat Refuge (Past) after copleting it you can go your HO and use the map device!!!!!

Hi, same bug same issue (devs fix this please asap) - but I can play waystones in endgame, just need to finish one waypoint. Did now 3 already and can get there via Act 3 Cruel Portal below Ziggurath Camp (a Waypoint to Ziggurath Refuge).
BUT and this is a BIG BUT - I have read forums and then net some mentioning that due to the fact that Travel East Quest is not finished the drop rate of currencies and waystones is nearly zero.
Is this true, is this confirmed?? Because if so, than playing the game does not make sense until bug is solved.
Any feedback on that ?? Any experience??

I'm now level 90 and i think this is effecting drop rates, i've done 50 T15+ maps today and also 20 10 Chaos runs and I have not had a single divine orb drop in 220 hours.

or had a tablet drop what people are saying this effects the drop rate of items in the end game the tab is doing something on the back End can GGG please comment on this so at least we know to stop burning mats I honestly love the game but I'm going to cry if this is the reason Im not getting drops.

i've burned so many mats i thought i was just unlucky but seems like many people who have this bug have not had one Div orb drop on the floor

I see. Well, it may be true, but I'm in the middle of Normal Act 3 and it's still not completed. Wherever this trigger is, it clearly doesn't work as it should.

I think people are dramatizing a bit. Divine orbs are extremely rare, that's why they cost 100 or so Exalts. Even without the bugged quest, I had my first one on 150 hours mark or so. That was the only time I've seen it as a drop from a boss.

Tablets aren't so rare, but they do not drop too often either.

Your drop rate will still be heavily affected. So no, you didn’t really fix it.
