How does the golden charm work?
" It's working during the loot table. I know for sure. Try running 3 if you don't believe, character sheet will prove it all and if you can hit 220-260 Rarity without the belt and without that shield you will get 1-3 exalts on activation sometimes. There actually seems to be a breakpoint on rarity without the belt where rarity is busted. I have lowered from 300 to less than 200 intentionally. One sad Exile

One has to assume it triggers on the rare you kill, or that's the intention or the charm would be pointless as the mob is usually dead before the elite. Clarity would be great though
Adding to the discussion, when I have 3 golden charms equipped, on killing a rare only charges from the left charm is used, the other two are at full charges. So unless you are fighting multiple rares back to back, having 3 seems to be over kill. Perhaps in breach you'll have the chance to get them spawning |

I'm using the charm and definitely notice the difference. So it must work on the kill that activates it.

Confirmed through tests with -100% IIR that it does apply to the monster that activates the effect.

any real official answer yet?

I don't think there has ever been an official answer on this.
But i do remember data miners and data gatherers finding out that the charm does NOT work on the mob it killed. You cannot stack the charms for more MF, but multiple charms does make maintaining the 1s buff easier. Hope this helps somewhat. |
