"Skeletal Arsonist Spirit now match the 'OTHER TWO' Mages"?
" Game is sort of ruthless 2.0, they hated minions there. I'm guessing there is no spectres and no necro asc because they want to make sure its not too powerful and having to nerf the shit out of it week 1, seeing how to it performs barebones on a half necro ascendency helps that I guess. I already bought gear to switch to an ignite build if they gut arsonists any more. That said the nerf isnt too bad, but the other minions are so bad that even if they cost 100 spirit it would probably be on par with the others. |

Arsonists being nerfed was inevitable.
Devs thinking Arsonists are mages is concerning though. |

" They nerfed arsonists in a way that targeted specifically witches with the spirit ascendancy. Now arsonists are a massive loss for anyone who's not using that ascendancy. They were problematic against bosses SORT OF, but in mapping they were fucking garbage. Especially breach and ritual where my minions would consistently die even with 3 clerics and 16 arsonists and fully buffed up with resists/physical reduction. Minions are in way worse of a state than people are admitting. It's actually insane that they even made it past initial testing. It's like playing Diablo 4 minions all over again. SRS isn't even good at all in later tier maps, it barely does any damage. I've just decided to stop playing minions now because I literally don't know how to make a viable minion build anymore. It's actually so exhausting getting nerfed every other day and having to fix my build because GGG doesn't want anyone to have fun. |
