Paradox of Exile 2

The game is in open Beta dude, chill.

-We havent even played the full campaign yet
-Changes/Tuning to difficulty and game play flow will continue for the entire Beta
-GGG has not stated anything in regards to POE2 league design intentions. We have no idea

We have no where near enough data to make any kind of feedback on POE2 temp leagues. Maybe campaign will be optional to progression, maybe there will be some kind of league leveling boost. Maybe the whole level experience will be different by then.. None of us know, so why are you writing a essay?

my early game experience has been

running outa mana
death
running around areas at a snails pace whilst being hoarded by mobs that feel like they take 20 mins to kill
pressing alt f4 multiple times due to the above
trying my hardest to like the game but in reality its just a really shit version of dark souls and its an F from me.

Honestly, I don't know why you are doing any of that except for dying once in a while.

when should i actually write then?

if i wrote later would it not be too late?

this is a feedback forum after all. if i highlight this issue, GGG could suddenly realize. oh yeah, we totally didnt think about that.

things do slip thru the cracks. even in the interviews sometimes ggg admits they overlooked things.

hindsight is 20 20.

and if you think about it. there really is no easy answer.

the campaign is long, i do enjoy the campaign but i dont want to reroll, i want to map and map and map all day. i do see the necessity of the campaign and actually appreciate it a great deal. its so much fleshed out and actually has agency compared to poe1.

there actually is a solution somewhat. when you talk about skipping the campaign and getting leveling boost. theres one more thing to add, give players items as well. all these 3 combined and you actually have the solution.

have 2 options. one temp league as usual. and second is let temp league content be accessible on standard. thats essentially what you get when you skip the campaign, and get a "leveling boost", and have access to gear.

problem is kinda solved. those who want a fresh economy can go on the regular temp league. while those that hate the slog, can access league content via standard.

Bro, my latest character in Necro Settlers is a solid COC Cyclone Occultist. High damage, great scaling potential, strong survivability, and very fast clearing speed. It turned out to be a good build.

Honestly, I see no point in responding to all this stream of graphomania. Just check the currency tabs in PoE1 and PoE2 to understand the nonsense you're writing. Your ceiling in PoE2 is boots, gloves, armor, and helmet with max life and all resists. What intricacies of building are you trying to discuss? It's just cringe.

You're missing the point. Don't compare the two games. If you like poe1, that's fine, you can play it. If you don't like poe2, that's fine too, don't play it. And drop the hypocrisy about graphomania - you're the one feeling the need to flex about the specifics of your poe1 character.
This person argued that you can't play a melee Witch in PoE 1, but you can in PoE 2, so PoE 2 is better. I respond to this with the fact that my last character was literally a melee Witch. What's your problem? What's flex got to do with this?
