the only time i've seen the IP ban anything is a blanket IP ban for area that are high in bottling/rmt, not that i really works since VPN's exist.

I got banned for no reason as well. No mail, no message. I log out for a couple of hours and when i came back, banned.

Same here! But in my case I was configuring a filter for items, here on the forum. I had to restart the game and got an IP ban. Sad
