[TITAN] *FINAL UPDATE* Ancestral Warrior Totem - Molten Blast - Strength Stacker
" found what was the reason why the link didn't work. now is OK. version of today. https://maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/o53120w1 meanwhile changed the rings to have more life and mana and cover even more attributes. also i decided to change one of the maces to +6 and sell the +7 because lvl41 does nothing compared to lvl40, it's hard capped. this allowed me to reconfigure the weapons (replacing the second +7 mace with a different +7 mace) and without big investment it was possible to partly skip the conversion of str to dex/int with soul cores. one of the maces was directly with 15 spirit and this brought me to the idea to put 30 spirit into the second mace. this allowed me to replace the spirit body armor and take one without spirit, but with even more life and mana and big resistances so I was able to put 4% increased life into it, now equipping the body armor alone brings 410 HP. currently HP is 3995 (regen 200 so ca 5% per second) plus Time of Need auto recovers 600 life every 7 second and mana is 1757 (regen 130 so over 7% per second) AW single cast is using 596 life and 572 mana so I don't think I need Blood Magic, it looks fine as is. important note about Time of Need (also for your new stampede build same), I saw many people tend to take duration modes in the tree to make totems exist longer but i think that the base duration and some prolongation only for totems is absolutely fine. Not taking any increased duration passives means that Time of Need procs significantly more often and we need it definitely, not only for health/safety but also because we partly or fully cast our skill with HP. and last but not least, now i have over 200 increased elemental damage on maces so it looks like below. i think generally going for a Prism of Belief is a cheaper and nicer way to cap the AW gem level, it gives more freedom so if building AW in this current form, it's important to closely watch the trade and look for the jewel as early as possible. in the perfect version both maces shall look like the one with +6: no conversion of Str to int/dex, mod Increased Elemental Damage with Attacks (IEDA), and Strength mod obviously. this adds some HP, makes Str requirement achievable and enables use of more functional cores, like Spirit (for Blasphemy etc) or even more IEDA, etc. my +7 does not have Str mod for now and the conversion core takes one of the slots because a proper mace with max 135 strength requirement, IEDA mod and 30 Str and without cores/runes costs currently like 20 divine orbs if lucky. unfortunately the +7 that is now equipped, was already with conversion, otherwise I would insert the second Azcapa there since I reached ca 415 Str. this would allow me to add the final spirit reservation support (Herbalism, nothing else works with the build, everything else is already running) but as long as I don't have another 20 divines i can live without 30% increased life recovery from flask. :) edit: found this one now on trade and will probably try now to get some resources and push for it. currently like 4 divines missing, this may actually be possible even today or at latest tomorrow. +25 Str on it will bring me to 452 str, thus I will be able to equip 150 Str weapon ez :) Last edited by RushBone#0065 on Jan 10, 2025, 9:25:27 AM

I got bored and integrated the Atziri's Disdain like you suggested!
Now to compare, is 3730 HP + 2065 ES (op lol) 1632 Mana 448 Str 79/79/79/71 Res (before I had 90 elem res to ignore Elem Weakness but whatever) I tried to go Blood Magic and Reinforced Barrier and check how much ES i gain and it's only like 600 more. but it makes Mana Flask unusable and wants to spend 1300 HP for one totem. having 3700-3800 life and spending 1/3 of it each totem feels rippy. plus 600 ES is cool, probably it would go to over 1000 if I replace the mana focused equipment, but the recharge is not that fast without nodes which also take skill points so i think that while Atziris Disdain is indeed OP and BIS, this build should run Mana and not Blood Magic, and use conversion 50/50 to life and 10% reduced cost (maybe possible to get more with good jewels, i will see) with such a skill cost, the build is too vulnerable as hybrid magic blood. we can use ES as additional defence layer but not as main HP pool. of course this all apllies also to your next build with Stampede. After messing around some more I changed the body armor once again to a Spirit one, and got Grim Feast running. I was at 3800 HP and 2000 ES but it immediately started to feel bad. Why?
I have first changed the armor to a nice Shaman Mantle with 336 armor and 119 ES. Stats looked good. But I directly noticed how bad it was without 5% HP regen, to cast from life even less than 1/2 of the skill cost. So like 5 divines later that I spent to try different things, I ended up with an Expert Steel Plate with 2.3% regen built in implicit. Even with 3500 HP and 1700 ES (overall 600 EHP less) it feels totally different. There are a lot of situations where ES does not start to regen on time and having such huge skill cast costs for each totem that it takes even 1/6 of life (in my case) or 1/3-1/4 of life (with blood magic) is very very rippy. I don't even start to talk longer about burning ground, bleeding, corrupting blood, poison, etc, etc. The one and only body armor type that is truly viable with a build that runs lvl39-40 skill with such costs that it needs to be shared or completely run from life, is Expert Steel Plate, preferably with 2% and higher implicit value. Updated the full info once again (click here). Level 93 now. Still deciding what to insert into the new body armor. Last edited by RushBone#0065 on Jan 13, 2025, 5:06:59 AM

Level 94, one more jewel socket and bought cheap From Nothing for Hearstopper (1 divine).
This allows to allocate Mental Toughness (18% mana regen, 16 less mana cost). OK this is relevant only for non Blood Magic version so not for you. Actually I am aiming for the From Nothing for Eldritch Battery because it will give us 40% faster ES recharge start per 1 point and 106% if invest 3 points more. This would be 12 divines. Also of course there is better options for From Nothing: whispers of doom > 30% recharge rate, 30 mana regen rate / 30 Divines mind over matter > 25 faster ES start, 25 faster recharge / 30 Divines but this is faar away from what I would be able to spend. but eldritch battery shall be possible in the next days. While using the current Heartstopper From Nothing, I decided to sacrifice Ancestral Reach (totem placement range / placement speed) for 50% increased Blind Effect which cuts enemies accuracy from -20% now to -30% but probably will retake ancestral reach next level Last edited by RushBone#0065 on Jan 13, 2025, 5:06:11 AM

" It does seem that gem Level increases the Damage aswell. Atleast for my Tooltip. Just in Case, i would go every time for Ancestral Warrior on Prism of Believe, the other increases are Global anyway. |

" I did go over your Post and you have a really strong alternative for our Defensive Layer. Indeed Atziri's Disdain is Mandatory since we have such a high HP pool, which helps a lot to invest a bit in ES and Grim Feast. Without Life Regen it really feels bad, personally i keep an Eye more on my Life Flask usage and safe some Regen Gear/Points for other Stuff. This is probably not the easiest option and safes, but works out for me really fine, since our Build has a lot of Damage anyways. I actually think to split the Cost will get you more Defensives overall and is a pretty good alternative. That makes the Gear proably more expensive because of the extra Mana you want in the Items no? I try to keep the investment moderate, that everyone can Build and improve it on their own. With your Variant How often do you die in Maps? Did you Sacrifice a lot of Damage for it? How much are youre investments so far? |
|
I don't die at all, and the damage was so good that I took out the last dps support (more attack speed) and inserted corpse fire explosion for mapping!
It looks like a solution to these nasty on death things the Poe2 mobs do. We remove the corpse and can run over just when mob dies without being scarried that it explodes under your feet. If your Stampede ignites you can do it too! Look I post here the latest version of Notes, it's maybe easier to read. The skill tree and gear are here: https://maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/o53120w1 Notes: The original idea comes from Tatiantel2 but current version is a totally different build, different gear, tree and perks. Additional idea about Atziri's Disdain integration plus Grim Feast comes from Empulseee. All other tricks (Blasphemy + Enfeeble + Zone of Control + Fated End, integration of Blind, AWT +2 jewel, enemies corpse removal) are my own. Megalomaniac: Zone of Control, Swift Claw. Prism of Belief: +2 to level of Ancestral Warchief. Results: 1. Level 40 Ancestral Warchief, costs ca 500 mana + 600 life, fire only damage, calculation complicated 2. Life regen over 5%/s, mana regen over 8%/s, flasks recharge passively 0.37 charge/s, Life flask has 30% more effect 3. 3500 HP, 1800 ES, 1600 Mana, 670 HP instant restore every 7 seconds (Time of Need, incl. curses and ailments removal) 4. 79/79/79 elemental resists, 75% chaos resist, 90% increased rarity, 31% real movement speed after all penalties 4. Enemies in presence / radius: - are cursed with Enfeeble lvl10 - are hindered (slower movement speed) - are blinded on hit (-30% accuracy) - cannot regen their ES, and regen life 2x slower - provide ES when dying (Grim Feast) - player friendly explode with fire damage for 10% of enemy's health (Fiery Death) - which also seems to partly solve the issue with their own on-death effects since they have no body to explode themselves...
