"Ascent to power" Bugged

I have the bug too. I believe what caused it was that I happened to get the quest bugged to where it is now unable to be completed is that:
1) A Trial coin dropped in act 1 of Cruel before I got the quest that then triggered the quest to "start." This then allowed me to kill Barya before having talked to the quest giver.
2) Returning to town after killing Barya resulted in the quest giver then giving out the quest again as if I had not just killed her. The map is now marked as the Barya having been killed but the quest marker requiring me to kill her to ascend can now never be removed.

My bug report reference number is 2 431 997 409 unable to access to trials of sekhemas at all. Tried killing Balbala in normal and cruel both multiple times and quest still not progressing and not able to teleport into the sekhemas from waypoint nor via party member teleport.

Most likely bugged as I dropped the green offering during leveling after killing Balbala.

Even after killing Balbala no change in the map and no npcs let me progress
