I dont think they needed all that, but Its a good way to put it.
Now at 75 without my most valuable skill points I simply want to know. Is this shit going to be mandatory for much longer or forever because if it is, Im done investing my time and money in this game. I have ZERO, FUCKING ZERO interest in ever stepping foot in a trial again, and seeing how my char is now STUCK in endgame with non of my good abilities, I want to know. DO i find a a new game or are they going to remove this shit being attached to my classes abilities? Im not investing more time in a new toon, or my current one, if this is what they are going with for my skills to be earned. I have no complained about the hours Ive speant trying to beet bosses with more one shot mechanics than I ever thought possible. * Have they even got themselves ANY class through this game I wonder... I will never step foot in another trial, and if my points are attached to this absolute fucking garbage then I need to go invest my time and money elsewhere. |

Adding my +1 to this.
I personally did not like Sanctum or Ultimatum league and did not engage in those two league mechanics. So having these two mechanics be the gatekeeper for Ascendancy is a deal breaker for me to play POE2 - which is really unfortunate because I genuine love this game. It's just these two mechanics overshadow and ruin what is an otherwise amazing ARPG. |

Extremely well thought out. I am truly loving this game, but am eternally frustrated with the trials. At level 75 I am horrified to attempt three floors of Sanctum on my monks. There are so many tiny hits that are nearly impossible to fully dodge in melee.
Let me use the regen and energy shield I've spent the entire game speccing into to ascend my class. |

100% agreed, I used up all my honor resist relics and failed on wave before the final boss because of poison trap instantly. I'm playing warrior titian and just getting there is pain enough.....
