+1 these game modes are frustrating; can only imagine what a new player that isn't following a build guide is experiencing-- they are probably quitting tbh.
i feel like the devs are repeating the same mistake of poe1 where the game is balanced around the most busted builds and everyone else can't keep up |

For the 3 and 4 points I just failled...last rooms floor bosses:
So...one hit from the bosses and ~500 honour are gone. The volcanoes still make a terrible damage...Are you kidding me GGG !?! This game has nothing to do with fun. I am not interested in your ruthless mode-game. Plus: Mapping is totally boring but the best job you did was implemending the two most hated POE 1 teqnicues for the trials. And: I have to do 20 (!) trials to reach the last stage... nobody at GGG tried this sh*** in your whole team-nobody? Congratulation... I am out of this, maybe I ll take a look in a year when you maybe release it. And btw: I have a lvl 70 ranger and 75 witch...and right now I got two (!!) invitations for the third stage of the trials--rofl. In my clan only 4 people are still playing. Rest quit already. |

Bump I genuinely hate being forced into copy paste sanctum mechanic worst league to ever exist and now im required to play it endgame. they made it seem like I would have a choice between chaos or sanctum but you dont. forced to do sanctum early endgame

I did campaing and mapst (just 5 lvl) without any problems.
I almost rageuninstaled after my last sanctum. God forced random way in the middle of run and it forced me to last room before boss to gauntler (worst room by far) and nerf my dmg about 40%. Lost there about 80% max honor. Died at boss. I will do this for asc and never more. On the other hand I think rogue-lite like content has potential. I really like it as idea. But I also think there is to much RNG choosing way and room, and affix you are getting as you go deeper are just to much punishing like OP said often runending. I would suggest to increase difficulty of enemies or rooms itself but nerf diff of afixes you are forced to choose. |

it does not have potential people will tilt and rage like there is no tomorrow if they lose on the third floor on their league start 6-7 hours into the game.
THey would need to put a heist npc in there to deactivate all the traps and make the bosses deal 70% less damage... The whole concept is a failure and has no future. sanctum is only good for one thing, optional, aspirational content to get better loot, it will not appeal to the midnset of 90% of the players. Even after the patch, the honor system is still an imposition. I'm now at maps level 10 and can't manage to get points 5 and 6 with my defensive melee fighters, because you get damage from the bosses without high dps. If it stays that way, I won't play a single league, that's for sure, I just don't have the time to mess around there for hours every time. Sry with G-Translate.
