Best POE 2 Lootfilter (Handcrafted Regular/Strict) by Slychac_Strzaly_TTV (Free download)
I've been using this great filter for almost a few weeks now. The strict setting is excellent for mapping.

Was wondering why i was not seeing gothic staff nice fix ty.
Also for uniques idk if possible but can you filter them out by name ? So for example lets say the actual name of if DoomGate it drops a lot. Instead of making it filter out make it maybe half transparent or no sound ? It could take a lot of time to write them all one by one but at least doing it for some common ones that drop very frequently on maps. Just so we understand uniques value easier. |

Hey, probably a simple question, but how can i add an itemlevel restriction to your existing lootfilter... I'm brand new, but a decent coder... my instinct is something like:
Show Class "Rings" "Amulets" "Belts" "Maces" etc etc etc for all types SetBorder X X X X ilvl > 80 <--- This is the line I need to know about SetTextColor X X X X SetBackgroundColor X X X X then drop an ilevel 81 item and see the colors and yes, i'm basically familiar with how they work on rgb inputs with opaqueness being the 4th i'm guessing |

" Nonononono. Thank ~YOU! :) For your trust and backup. Happy to be of help. " No need to be harsh on anyone, friend. Everyone are free to give any filter a try and pick their favourite. I myself am using modified Neversink in PoE 1 and it is and always will be the best and most customisable filter for casual players. PoE 2 has different visuals and environement. Visibility is more important and we do not have some of the generic options to use like in the first generation of the filters. We will for sure get them one day, I am certain of that. As a game designer, I value information and visibility over optimization and accessibility. That is why my lootfilter works the way it is and has 6 times more lines than any other :P " " Thank you for your trust! " We cannot filter iunidentified items by name. Such thing cannot be done. But I will check the full list of unique items and maybe I will be able to create three pools - basic, ones that may have good value depending on item base pool and the top ones. It seems there is only one unique heavy belt in the game, and it would be valuable Headhunter. So we can try this approach. " Catch me live on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/slychac_strzaly and I will show you live how to do that. This is the best way, becasue I do want you to understand how the system works and you will no need to ask again for any future changes. :) Last edited by ArronEagleheart#4399 on Dec 30, 2024, 8:35:29 PM

Any chance you would consider removing all of the useless/worthless inexpensive Uniques on the strict version of your filter?

Happy New Year, Exiles!
People were constantly asking me for a possibility to do two more things to upgrade the filter: 1. Filtering items based on Item Level (ilvl) This will not be done. You are determining item level of items you are droping with map level you are running. You can see the Area Level (Monster Level), which is also minimum item level of the drop before you enter it. Be mindfull about your maps and their level. It is important to run proper maps of proper level if you want to get best loot possible. 2. Filtering out low value Uniques. It took me half of the day, but I've done it. From now on, my STRICT lootfilter is filtering out all useless uniques. It is showing the bases that MAY be valuable, but also have low value drops in the base pool. Where there was only one item of given unique base and it was worth alot - You will hear and see proper "lucky drop" sound and highlight. PLEASE BE MINDFULL AND CHECK ALL VISIBLE ITEMS ON THE GROUND! For example - we have two heavy belts in the game - one is worth one Exalt and one multiple divines - It is impossible to tell them apart with the filter, so those are just being shown. You need to hover over all visible uniques to determine if those are good or bad. Still, over 60% of uniques were possible to be fully filtered out. Enjoy! :) " " Last edited by ArronEagleheart#4399 on Jan 2, 2025, 7:42:23 AM

" Why was this done? Unique items are dismantled into chance shards. And 10 chance shards turn into 1 orb of chance = 7 exalted. Literally 10 uniques = 7ex. I’m using the previous version of the strict filter, the new one doesn’t fit, it’s broken |

" Becasue a lot of people requested such a change. Just to clarify: You can still hear ALL uniquest that drop, and you can quickly pick them up using LALT button. When it comes to value of an item, we alco count space that it takes in inventory. Item that keeps 4 or 6 slots in the inventory is worth less than raw currency that can stack in one slot. If you want to be efficient, you should consider changing your mindset a little. BUT You may be right here, not everyone want such a strict filter, so I will add it as a separated version. From now on, I will call it ULTRA STRICT |
