Is this build still viable or is RIP as it says in the beginning?

EB that's exactly what i forgot. Thanks, I have 3800 ES about and only could rem not to take MoM unless you have about 3.5k mana. So i can get both MoM and EB w/ just 3 points in my tree as is(noted).

So how are sparkbros feeling now after the nerf leaks
What nerf leaks,I'm only assuming some things will change for Archmage, prob not spark or fireball either. CoS/CoF don't seem outa wack either but I'm rather new to PoE.

Currently absolutely viable, the very first iteration of the build got RIP'd due to Wildshard changes but an adaptation was quickly found, and now there's a few different versions that are all valid.
That said, for how long we don't really know. I think we're all expecting Archmage to get nerfed, which will be a huge hit to all versions of the build.

In your opinion, is it a big damage increase to drop the blueflame bracers at endgame? I find I'm really liking the freeze-shock dynamic still and clearing maps is okay, but I feel a little anemic at pinnacle bosses (usually get carried by my spark archmage friend lol). I got slapped hard by a T4 Xesht hand and worry a bit about survivability too.

I think at that point it's less about the damage and more about being able to use the glove slot in order to alleviate stat requirements from other gear so you can focus on better rolls on the more "important" stats.
Really depends on your gear I think, personally I can't yet get enough value of out of shock to warrant changing my gear and tree, but others absolutely have (And also have like 5 divine+ more invested in their gear than myself).
So, yeah, basically you do want to get rid of them at some point, but I don't think replacing just them is all that much of a DPS boost alone

Thanks for your insights! I'm going to keep the blueflames for now, maybe change up some skill tree stuff, and see if I can try T4 Xesht again.
I'd love to see your current gear/gem setup, if you have a mobalytics or maxroll.

Sadly I don't, though honestly I expect at this stage you're further ahead of me anyway. I've not had the time to really plug into progression, and half of me is waiting for the inevitable Archmage nerf to see if the build can even be salvaged afterwards

Yeah I'm not sure what will happen after Archmage gets nerfed. Maybe I should just save as many divines as possible for that day so I can remodel, haha.

I would do the same but I have none haha.
I've put off even looking at any potential upgrades until after the next patch notes though. Archmage is almost guaranteed a nerf, it just depends if other stuff gets buffed so the build is still roughly the same...
And most of the upgraded "versions" of this build use the Machination shield which I expect will for sure get a nerf as well, that thing is bonkers.
