(Stormweaver) Max projectiles cold converted fireballs. Cheap, easy, powerful, FUN! (T16+ ready)
" Not sure what you are doing wrong. Basically, you place flame wall (cascade) then shoot fireballs through it to empower them. You wait until you have 2 stacks of unleash and then throw them all at once for a mega-proc chance. You can drop mana tempest for more damage, and you need to be running archmage. Frost spells are used for freeze and utility. However I recommend simply buying blueflame gloves for 3ex or so, to freeze with fireball. You scale the damage with + spell levels, gain % damage as x, cast speed, and positioning to shotgun fireball off of walls (or frostwalls). I dont know why it does so low damage on my Sorc. Skillgem is LVL 14, i Linked it the same as in the guy. I couldnt even move smoothly through A6 Campaign enemies for testing. White Mobs 15 Levels under me needed an insane amount of fireballs.
Any recommendations what to Pick in the skilltree when you have every node recommended already. Got Like 10 Points to spare. Do we play this build with a 2H Staff with Lvl of firegems? Or are 1H Wand + offhand viable as well? |

I found that using a staff with power sigil adds quite a bit of dps, esp when combined with mana tempest. I also run elemental conflux and the damage is pretty nice. I am trying to figure something out with a cast on freeze, either cold snap or ember, but I'm not sure it;ll make much of an impact.

only issue I'm running into so far is a staff :( way PoE2 converts damage from one element to another is screwing me. +3 fire spell, %spell damage, %fire damage, the %fire damage isn't doing anything converting 100%fire to 100%cold, since its done all at once now at the end so would need a staff with +fire skill, spell damage, and cold damage. Have not seen one and not sure its possible

since 100% of my fire damage turns into cold, should I give away passives to full cold to increase damage yea?

Can you by any chance post that mobalytics with updated skills (no minions)?
Really want to switch to this, but want to make sure I'm right where you're at, or as close as I can to it! Thanks for helping me possibly be able to play the game again after the CoF nerfs. I'm currently sitting with a shit/bricked build. |
