(Stormweaver) Max projectiles cold converted fireballs. Cheap, easy, powerful, FUN! (T16+ ready)

So I'm finally into maps, and just hit level 70. Finally looking to start getting my mid-end-game gear...

Which body armour base do we want, ideally? I was thinking Keth Raiment because Mana Regen is always good, but there's also start of energy shield recharge which could be useful.

Doubt I'll be able to find one I want today anyway, so figured I'd check and make sure.
Do you have a Frostwall gem in CoF as well as in your main skill socket? If not, you need to make a second Frostwall gem. You NEED two different Frostwall gems for this build. If the game is telling you that you can't make a second one, take one off, then make it.

Editing to add my love for this build: I've been playing since day 1 of EA, and this is the first build I've made/followed that feels GOOD to play. I have a Lightning Arrow Deadeye currently stuck on Queen of Filth(prolly needs better gear), and the rest I basically just... deleted cause they were effectively bricked. This is also the first time I've played something in either PoE1 or 2 that feels like something I'd have played in Diablo 2. It feels like I'm playing a D2 Sorc, and I'm LOVING it. Thank you so much for this build, I've never felt happier playing PoE.

Definitely the mana regen one. Mana is our life with MoM. What we are really aiming for is to stay mana-neutral while at maximum spam, in order to keep our huge mana buffer topped off.

ES recharge is great too, but Mana regen increases our potential in several different ways.

As a Infernalist playing this build I've been trying out some side experiments on how to do our own take on this.

I've recently tried out Demonform with a Ghostwrithe chest piece which is feeling very strong in the early mapping when getting a better weapon and focus combo than what demon 10 provides is exceptionally expensive. Though the mana costs are just insane and I haven't found a way around it yet. (Still haven't gotten a G Jewel to 4 slot fireball -mana costs) I'm sure I'll get there in the end but it's going on the shelf now.

I'll be keeping the Ghostwrithe chest piece on though, my ES went from 2>5k almost, and I don't see a need to add additional defences when I'm running Blasphemy Enfeeble where I'm currently at.

Infernalist providing extra survivability and spirit helps alot. I can run Blasphemy, Grim Feast, COF and Arctic Armor at the same time which is awesome.

That's really cool, looking forward to hearing about what you can do with it.

Infernalist sounds appealing just for the options for +spirit scaling, which frees up a slot for a unique.

Awesome, that's even better for me then since it's a level 70 requirement and the ES one is level 75 haha

Now to find one with enough spirit...

Thanks OP,

BUt I am having a hard time with rare with haste, mana leech circle, block inc projectilel (if I get into this circle, wont see anything to dodge since spamming frost wall and fireball in this area)

just go into melee and spam your frost walls to freeze them, and unload
Did a few 10 stage ultimatums (level 80). This build is actually pretty good for it. There are lots of modifiers we can safely take without any negative impact on our survivability or damage.

What makes the build especially good is our frostwall shotgun is super effective on all the bosses here thanks to their large size and hitboxes. You can 1 or 2 phase chimera and rotten bird very easily off a freeze. Caster bird is annoying though (for everyone, it seems), and its rng if he uses his one killer move.

The thing we need to watch out for is the tornado from the caster bird. You need 30% ms boots for this, and when he winds up to do it, you run to the edge of the arena and then run in a circle along the edge while the tornado follows you. Do not dodge roll, or the tornado will catch you and then its over.

After tornado, we go back into melee and resume frost wall shotgunning. It should be over very quickly. If you reached T15/16 then 10 stage ultimatum is no problem, aside from the tornado phase.

I did not get lucky with fragments, so haven't done trialmaster yet.

I know I could buy them, but when it comes to endgame boss progression I like to do it myself.

With Archmage and Mana Tempest in our build, should we go with Call of the Brotherhood Topaz Ring to maximize the damage?

yeah that would be ideal, condensing all damage types into cold so we can take full advantage would be a big damage boost

I would say its more of an endgame chase goal than a requirement though, 1 divine can buy you enough other gear to clear up to T16 and farm on your own, so probably better to use that budget to get to that point than go for one item right away

since everything that is frozen has zero resistance against us, we still take advantage of our lightning damage pretty well

if you can fit it in your build and already are feeling comfortable than go for it
