I lost all motivation to play poe2 after today’s patch

People keep using the word "nerfed" . Stop it, it is misleading others. The corect word is deleted. All cast on X spells are unusable , and all passives are a waste of space in the talent tree. The question i have is who benefits from deleting fun builds, because i am pretty sure players do not. The games must be balanced so all player have a good experience , but what they did is far from balance. I wasted a lot of gold trying to make a cast on crit variant, but i failed. Cast on X spell are simply unusable. So what do i go back to ? Casting ice wall on top of bosses ? If this is the type of buid they want me to play, i would like a refund please.

I think there's a great idea!

It would be fantastic if you could make all respecs for our early access free.

It's totally understandable and legitimate to change and balance, but let's make sure you don't get people frustrated.


Give them the possibility to respec and experiment while you tinker!

I see no harm in this really. This way Jungroan can make 3 broken builds per day for them to hotfix instead of 3 per week.

LOL! Exactly! That's what I'm saying!

People who are saying "it's EA deal with it" I check their profile immidately and see ZERO added into this game their ideas. They are just bunch of annoying NPC time to time show up.

Mostly people who criticize something only players that they care for it. Unquestioning fanbois are looking like non thinking NPC but nothing else.


For OP, I stop playin at the moment to see how changes will go in the future. If there was a better and viable way to respec talent I would like to test lot's of builds rather than stuck at one build ofcourse. Most of the players are telling this and I believe GGG will come to sense about it.

im amused to see ppl complaining about stuff. how about stop the gambling ingame and u have plenty of gold for emergency respecs. it also helps if u dont run broken builds postet by streamer/youtuber . il play my own build and get inspired by the talent tree . i respec every day multible times to test stuff. it is the minmaxing part that is fun in this game. playing something that u dont created yourself is just as playing a game that somone else played for u already. whats the point of that? besides.nerfing stuff that is overperforming is always a good thing for playability. i mean think about it. u got a skill that oneshoots bosses.i already immagin the players in reddit " game is easy AF " u would stop playing the game because there is no room for improvement anymore the oneshooting stuff

Nerfing/Deleting builds is fine. Bricking characters and forcing people to farm gold for respecs in lower zones is not.

I didn't follow a build. I just happened upon Cast on Ignite and was surprised when comet would slot in.

Respecced to mana regen and went to bed with 7k gold. Woke up and now I can't do shit.

they force nothing. u should have plenty of gold if u dont gamble... so its a selfmade problem that u force on the devs
