I lost all motivation to play poe2 after today’s patch

I was planning to start CoF build today I wanted to start it yesterday, but I instead played marvel rivals with my friends and now I’m glad I did otherwise I would have wasted time on now useless build. It’s totally demotivating to start playing knowing that your not even so strong build can be nuked at any moment because of that I totally lost motivation or any intention to play poe 2 after today’s patch. Why should I play and waste my time leveling character and get to end game if they can kill my build just like they did with CoF. I understand nerfing builds but not completely smashing it to pieces. It is not like CoF was overpowered or game breaking in any way why kill this fun build when I see warrior one shooting bosses nerf that instead. They could first try with small nerf and make it like 35% per normal monster 50% on magic and 80% rare instead of totally nuking all 'Cast on X'.

Imagen to complain about a Game in early access getting nerfs and changes...
I'm in a similar boat. Got to level 30 warrior and big stuns are fun but the clear is absolutely awful, and the amount of levels and gear I'll need to make it fun seems like a slog.
I thought about rerolling sorc or witch but they keep nerfing every build I want to try out of existence.

Imagine defending a game that doesn't have free respecs in EA if they going to nerf skills

Yup. I'm not playing for the time being unless respect costs are changed and/or CoF is returned to a playable level. I don't mind nerfs, but CoF and the like were basically removed from the game.

That part is fine(albeit annoying because they have limited build options), but not being able to respec makes no sense. If you want to make broad changes, just offer a reset all skills button and that will remove at least half of the outrage.

Respec cost balance is part of the development process. Cry about it.
Y'all are lame and corny as hell. Nothing to it besides that, I have Warrior and Mercenary at level 15+, my monk is level 24, and I am having a blast. I also have a Witch I started playing, I have no issues with the difficulty, and love that it's not super easy.

I am having a lot of fun gearing one character at a time (I scavenge and disenchant most of the items, while also buying socketed gear from the merchants, & place the currencies in the share stash), and even without focusing on gear with most of my characters, I 've had a very easy time. Heck, I didn't invest in an single passive point with my mercenary until I got to the Mad Wolf fight.
bro you can get to 24 in one evening some people basically lost 50-100+ hours of progress. tourist mind is really something else.
People keep using the word "nerfed" . Stop it, it is misleading others. The corect word is deleted. All cast on X spells are unusable , and all passives are a waste of space in the talent tree. The question i have is who benefits from deleting fun builds, because i am pretty sure players do not. The games must be balanced so all player have a good experience , but what they did is far from balance. I wasted a lot of gold trying to make a cast on crit variant, but i failed. Cast on X spell are simply unusable. So what do i go back to ? Casting ice wall on top of bosses ? If this is the type of buid they want me to play, i would like a refund please.
