PS5 Game Performance is just awful and unplayable
Disgustingly bad console ports, shouldn't release those before official access. My old ass pc with gtx 1060 and frame gen have way more fps than my PS5 :D

Just to add another voice to this thread, bought EA on both Steam and PS5 so I could play from both desktop and couch.
High FPS on PC and visually looks fantastic, unfortunately on PS5 visuals aren’t as good (looks grainy almost) on a 4K display, and FPS dropping to between 20-30 fps from Act 2 onwards in intense areas, in-particular during boss fights and when there are a lot of mobs on the screen. Tried different settings but doesn’t seem to have much impact and they are producing similar results. Also noticing certain spells such as flame wall (which is a key part of my current build) seems to tank the fps quite a bit on console. I understand it’s EA so hoping this will be addressed over the next few months as the controller support is excellent and works well in practice, the game just needs a bit of work on the optimisation side to improve visuals/performance on console as it’s definitely an inferior experience at the moment compared to PC. |

1. This is one of the most popular topics in the whole PS5 branch 2. New patch just came out, if you try ctrl+F with a word "Performance" - you'll find nothing in the patch notes. 3. In the section "Known Issues" GGG still didn't mention that this awful performance, screen tearing, lag-drops, lag-freezes is a Known Issue. 4. Still we didn't have here in the topic even one word from GGG, that this awful technical performance won't be the part of the console 1.0 release. Seems like the only way to enjoy this REALLY GREAT game is to buy expensive PC. It is completely sad news, since I was hyped for more than a year to play this one couch coop with my wife and friends. Just bumping all optimization posts...... we will not go down with out a fight or at least until santa comes next week .. which especially means no patch for us console users :-(

Sadly on PS5 we have bought a Demo instead of early access, as only act1 & 2 are playable, until higher mob density and effects from character progression kick in and game is unplayable due to the performance. Game is great, and i admire level of commitment with patching balance and bugs, but at least acknowledgement from the team about the issue would be really appreciated and reassuring that we will not be left behind.

Im playing on the base ps5 and FPS on the T1-T5 map is awful unplayable. I really hope GGG perform alot of optimization for ps5. |

GGG should do the right thing and follow the example of square enix and yoshi p. to pull the plug on this horrible cosonle ports, completely rework them to a proper state and then restart the early access for console.
I honestly thought that they have learned from their poor console versions of POE 1 but obviously they did not. |

In ACT1 it runs good specially at the very beginning. As you progress it gets worse and worse. I am on PS5 Pro have tried all different configuration possible, but nothing helps. They need to improve performance by a mile. Diablo IV has better graphs and it runs SO SMOOTH on the PS5 Pro
