PS5 Game Performance is just awful and unplayable

Well, seems like even guys with Ps5 Pro can't fully enjoy the game without crazy FPS drops. Can we have any GGG comments on the almost 5 pages topic?

Should we buy 2000$ PC instead, or GGG definitely know that this performance is not being a part of the release?

For real, thanks for the amazing game and constant nerfs, but we should know whether we can enjoy stable FPS (like in D4 f.e.) on console or not? That's matter, because I don't know should I buy something in store or not etc.
The game on PS5 is an absolute disaster. Constant screen tearing that makes your eyes bleed, lag, parts of the game are blurry, coop is unplayable, the game crashes when fighting a little more enemies... and the endgame is completely unplayable. I feel like I've been totally scammed. I and other console players paid exactly the same price as PC players but they got a game that runs perfectly smoothly with beautiful graphics, so we got complete garbage. Even if I put the lowest settings, it still doesn't work even 10% as well as on PC. Plus, the game looks disgusting.

If you want to prefer PC over consoles, I understand, fine, but then don't try to sell me a game that doesn't have the same quality and say it does.
This game shouldn't have come out on console at all, GGG obviously only cares about PC base where everything runs beautifully. If only I could refund....

Sad to say, but I have quite the same feeling. I waited for so long to play couch-coop with my wife, and I absolutely LOVE the game. But play in such technically poor condition is just very dissapointing. And I'm not sure why GGG can't say to us something about this poor performance. At least that they think it is not appropriate level of optimization. So we can know, that they WILL do something with it.
I see screen tearing even on the Pro. Really hoping GGG has a plan for this.. it's one of my few complaints so far but it's the biggest.

Enjoying myself outside of that.

I 100% agree with you. We’re not considered at all, even though we paid the same price. I’m really disappointed—I didn’t expect this from GGG. They’re about to release a new patch, and yet there’s no sign of improved performance for consoles. Honestly, it’s unacceptable. We really got played… and not in a fun way!
I'm not here to be overly emotional about this, just adding my experience for visibility to the devs.

PS5 player here. Getting quite a bit of screen tearing, usually in many maps, not just a couple. Performance is also probably the worst I've seen since the launch of Cyberpunk. FPS drops but more often it's the server pausing and then the lag spiking ahead, causing your character to move in super speed. It tends to happen during very unfortunate times for me, like boss fights. Today was the worst actually, it was the first time the lag spike caused a server disconnect.
Guys, new fresh patch-notes came out. Not a single word about consoles and garbage performance. Not even a single. Not even like "Yes we know, we're working on it".

Yes, that's a bit dissapointing. Of course balance issues are very important, but on consoles we are not even able to reach endgame due to the performance. Game is great, but we are unable to play.
Unfortunately, this is the game with the worst performance on PS5 I have ever played. The FPS drops are real, and at times the game is barely playable. This issue needs to be addressed as soon as possible because it really kills the fun.

I’m curious, do PS5 Pro users also experience FPS drops?

Also the crashes are unreal!!! I try to port to town --> crash - I relog and port again --> crash.... i have like 10-20 crashes per day.

As a PS5 Pro user, I’ve observed significant FPS drops in areas with high CPU/GPU load. Frame rates can drop from 90 FPS to as low as 30-40 FPS, depending on the intensity of on-screen activity. Additionally, there are persistent issues with screen tearing and inconsistent frame pacing, which further impact the overall experience.

The low FPS observed in hubs or towns appears to be CPU-bound, highlighting the limitations of the PS5/PS5 Pro's processor when handling demanding scenarios. Furthermore, PSSR upscaling and toggling between quality and ultra-performance modes yield minimal, if any, noticeable improvements.

There is a clear need for further optimization to enhance performance stability across the board.
