PS5 Game Performance is just awful and unplayable

We’ve recently played quite a bit of couch coop (2p only) Ritual in T2-3 maps. It’s pretty much on the edge of playability.

If dynamic culling is on, the whole screen flickers on and off rapidly and you pretty much just press buttons and hope to live. You cannot really discern what’s happening.

If off, performance chugs to the point where it can become a slideshow. In general these encounters are pretty terrible in couch coop.

I just got a ps5 pro today, and it feels like a downgraded(poe2).

PS5 Standard & Pro got the same CPU so it makes no difference .
And yes it's totally a downgraded version .

Just fix the framerate on the ps5 pro already.

The quality seem to drop in coop when playing crossplay. But it's far from unbearable. Enjoying it alot!

It all depends on what class you play.

If my wife and I play couch coop minions witch and lightning sorc, and I keep raising minions and flame walls, then all mobs, some (if not almost all) scenery and even the player characters disappear of the screen and you frame rate drops to like 5 FPS.

I wouldn't consider that "playable" in any form.

Yeah, and we shouldn't fool ourselves with phrases like "some maps work well" or "some builds work well without major performance issues." We should definitely aim for a well-functioning product overall.

By the way, in the new video about PoE1, Jonathan addressed crashes and endgame problems, but AGAIN, not a single word about how poorly the game performs. You can't fully enjoy a fully built endgame when your FPS drops to 10-15.

Not saying the situation warrants to sue GGG over this ( it does not ) , but Devs never acknowledge their game is "broken" as it could be used against them in court .

This issue has rendered the game unplayable for me. Adjusting settings doesnt do anything to help.

PLEASE FIX THIS!
