" You don't need Accuracy if you get resolute technique. Only need accuracy if you're trying to go for a Crit build, which I've looked into and I don't think its worth it. We would spend _A LOT_ of nodes to get even 290% crit, which amounts to only 14% crit chance on slam because the base crit chance is only 5%. The POE2 passive tree and limited modifiers on items (you can't even get crit chance on rings) makes a totem (2h mace with 10% base crit might be viable..) based crit build seem out of reach for now. I catch Every mace that i see trying to get a decent one to sell/use, but for me is quite impposible getting the +lvl melee, so my question is, anyones knows if this suffix its only possible when you put atleast a regal on the item(rare)?
If not, can anyone link me or tell where can i find the answer? Currently at lvl 84, need to improve a bit gear because T12+ makes me die pretty quickly if im not paying close attention where i click :) |

" I've been playing SSF and struggle with the same thing; I have two stash tabs accumulating magic and rare maces that I keep reforging and it seems like the +Melee suffix is just weighed very low. https://poe2db.tw/us/One_Hand_Maces#ModifiersCalc It definitely doesn't require a rare, though. It's a suffix, so be sure to aug prefix-only blues. I think I've seen +Melee show up 5-6 times out of several hundred attempts. Unfortunately, each of those has always been +1 or +2, so I'm still rocking the +3 I bought from one of the Expedition merchants. This setup is fun to play SSF, but it's surprisingly gear-dependent; no Hymn early on hurts damage badly and makes campaign bossing pretty miserable, accumulating enough balanced resistance gear to give up a shield is very hard, and trying to self-find high +melee, low-str two-handers to dual wield while ALSO maintaining the stats for the rest of your hodge-podge gear is pretty much impossible. I'm still enjoying T9-12 mapping at about the same place as you (18+5 shockwave), but I can't imagine I'd want to try to SSF this into endgame content -- there's just waaaay too much gear RNG alignment needed to hit the sweet spots. |

So, im testing block chance on passive tree, and when im on 8/8 ascendency on block and 41%, if i refund 5% block chance doesnt go to 36%, it remains on 40%.
Is there anything that im missing? A typo? Huh If not, and actually works, maybe that nodes are not really worth it. |
