This. I really enjoyed the difficulty on my first campaign run, it made boss fights intense. But are we supposed to slog through trash mobs even when we're way over-leveled for the area?
Meteor used to rapid fire occasionally on groups of weak enemies, which was a bit OP if an elite was amongst them (we should be able to delete trash mobs in action rpg though), but now it triggers once every minute or so. You've fixed the problem of Sorcerer being a glass cannon by turning the class into a glass pawn instead.
My girlfriend played Witch for 50 hours and is on the verge of quitting the game because it's such tedious work to finish any boss. She does next to no damage and dies easily to groups of trash mobs unless she stays far back. I have to spam Frost Bolts all the way to the edge of the screen just to try and freeze mobs before they hit me in the Aggorat area.
Please, just fix the tedious difficulty of the game already—nerf mildly OP stuff later!

I dont care about the damage. I enjoyed the PLAYSTYLE!! Reminded me of the classic meteor/frost archetype from D3 wizard. It was FUN to play.

This is a childish response. It's an early access game.

As a sorc affected by this directly - we go agane. Pull up your big boy pants, wipe off your tears and find another build.

Or don't. But you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you didn't think this wasn't going to happen in EA, and it will happen more.

Do you know I need to freeze at least 20 times to trigger the Comet?
Even if I'm willing to switch to other build, I can't mapping now, and I don't have enough gold to refund my passives. It need about 4000 gold per passives point!
Can you bring your brain to balance?
You are nerfing any build randomly like this until you can no longer play it, and the cost of refund passives is fucking high that us cannot switch build at will. Are you sick?
Just completed the ultimatum trial on area level 65, the token said I would get my ascendancy points (3rd set) and I could not ascend at the end. Just nothing there. Now, when I look at a token, it says it won't grant me an ascendancy point even though the area level is 65.

You cannot have a stronger "freeze". Monster is frozen or it's not. I tested, It's not very good and defnitly not worth the 60 spirit it uses.

I wwanted to try the end game but I feel my character is goibg backward and is no longer ready.

I could change my spells and build. Or I could install the new Indiana Jones, people say it's good.
So what would you say is the point of the Sorceress level 8 persistent buff gems?
I have been enjoying using cast on shock for the Invoker Monk. It is a nice way for me to generate energy charges reliably/easily. I agree that a nerf was necessary, I could get max energy pretty easily with no investment in meta skill energy buffs.

HOWEVER, the nerf doesn't feel good and just seems like a general QOL nuke for my build. Normal mobs feel like they aren't generating enough energy.

I would be a lot better off just removing CoS and manually casting the spell, but it just feels tedious.

Really dumb take, you obviously havnt tried it. Triggering COF should be proportional the the mana cost of the skills used to trigger. Frostbolt spam was high mana cost, and your mana pool constantly going to 0 was gate keeping the extra comets. If I have to spend high amounts of mana to trigger then my trigger should be a nice boom.


Saying use stronger skills makes no sense, howe you expect people to use stronger skills which are way more mana intensive and have mana left over for the comet procs?

The classic way to play arpgs is generator spender. Use small skills to trigger big booms. Not use boom to trigger more boom. Mana sustain with your idea is not possible.

i was playing cast on ignite sorc because all of the fire spell skills suck compared to skills from other classes that ive seen and i wanted a fire build despite that. even before the patch i was staying like 5 seconds in front of the mob pack before that underwhelming cast on ignite would trigger. now it is just completely useless and im stuck with it because i didnt know to save gold to respec. if i knew this was coming i wouldve at least saved some gold but i thought it was already shitty so why would they change it. now it just became something redundant that noone would ever wanna play. i never make posts on forums but this s**t patch infuriated me like never before.
