i feel like i just wasted 50+ hours. the cast of freeze change should have been made at the beginning of the next league. the nerf is way too punishing.

The energy change is way too much, it should have been halved IF THAT. What a waste of time, I really do not want to slug myself thru this incredibly boring campaign again.

Always thought that this was a joke but it isnt. Vision is to not have fun.

For all the people complaining, have you tried using stronger spells or increase it damage/magnitude to trigger CoF? It seems that stronger spells increase energy faster but it seems none of you are willing to try slower strong spells, or maybe you are low level with lower levels on your skills used for the trigger.

I think the idea is that eventually late game builds can trigger as many comets, or whatever else was being triggered, as fast as you were previously but you need to use something stronger than EoW and you need to have better gear.

The fact everyone is jumping to the conclusion that the build was completely nerfed without testing new skills is mind blowing. It might be possible with the changes that triggers are even faster with the right set up.

I think the vision was to slowly build into a power fantasy, rather than starting there early game, and the changes just smooth out progression so that you don’t start completely OP but get there eventually.

Ive already uninstalled, and will beging filing disputes on my CC tomorrow for the game + the added 200 bucks I dropped in the store.

I dont care about the damage. I enjoyed the PLAYSTYLE!! Reminded me of the classic meteor/frost archetype from D3 wizard. It was FUN to play.

Fuck this game

I came back from a few hour break to find out my Cast on Freeze build is gutted. I was excited to come back and play, even put in a few more bucks worth of tab inventory.

After the patch notes, your vision of the game is "dont have fun" or we'll gut it too.

I dont want to play Ranger (the class ya'll should really be looking at not sorc).

My motivation is dropped to zero to play this game now. This change has destroyed my build and we are getting no compensation for it? No free respecs? No nothing.

Naw I'm good. I may come back... or may be not. You don't hotfix something like this to destroy a build people have been working on for HOURS or Days and dust your hands off like here ya go!

If something isn't fixed soon, you about to lose more people fast. Good luck tho im out.

I know a lot of people are pretty heated about the nerfs, and I do think they should consider a passive reset. However I personally like some of this patch because suddenly I'm getting loot and it's a bit less of a slog. Don't get me wrong I really like the game, and the changes make it easier for an old fart like me to play with less pain in my hands.
