0.1.0d Patch Notes

Every time a powerful build emerges, it feels like a testament to the players' wisdom, their deep understanding of game mechanics, resource management, and skill synergy. However, it now seems like the official stance has become: "If players are enjoying a build too much, it must be nerfed."

I understand the importance of balance, but balance should not mean outright gutting every strong build until it's no longer viable. The diversity of builds and the freedom to explore are the soul of the game.
Players invest significant time and effort into creating and perfecting their builds, only to see them quickly dismantled by your patch notes. This not only frustrates players but also discourages their enthusiasm. At the same time, it wastes the significant time, money, and other resources players have spent.

If your goal is to make sure no one enjoys the game, then keep going this way. Goodbye.
Awesome patch notes! Could we have a bit more detail on how/how much leech has been buffed?
build bricked by the coF changes, really sucks. Would have been nice to at least get a free respect with such a game-changing nerf.
On the 6th day of the game there are no changes in mana leech. How play on acolyte of chayula based on leech. Do something already.
Patch broke the loot filter.

As many people have already said; this feels like a really stupid decision, which completely beats the point of CoC.. even if the idea behind meta skills is to only be supportive, this change just feels so weird, anti-player and anti-purpose. why not just heavily nerf the damage dealt by the supported skills?.. the skills' name is Cast on Critical, not Cast on Critical Damage. I've played PoE for more than 10 years now and i love GGG to death; PoE has carried me through some really rough times and i probably won't ever quit playing PoE games, but this change singlehandedly brought me the closest i've ever been.. i'll stop playing for now; hopefully i come back to a better game.

Good points and suggestion. The playstyle is fun. Don't care about the damage as much, the playstyle is cool and satisfying. I think GGG are taking a terrible route here. The currency change gave me hope, these recent patches are making me lose that hope. I'm out for now.

100% im out too i uninstalled. I am a new player, bought into the massive hype!! What a great way to motivate the new audience. Shit all over our FUN! I was playing cast on freeze not bcause of its output (which I really didnt find that crazy at all) it had some problems like the constant need to spam mana potions, but it was FUN!!

D3 was a shit game but the frost/meteor sorc builds were some of the most fun ive ever had, its such a cool satisfying gameplay and GGG destroyed it.

If you think its over performing (for what ever reason) fine nerf damage, but dont destroy the skills entirely making the classic meteor mage archetype dead. Thats classic ARPG MAGE GAMEPLAY.

This shows me they dont care about their customers. The excuse of "its early access" does not apply here. If it was a invitational beta to test game sure no problem. But fact is we all paid MONEY to play. So call it what you want but we are still entitled to get satisfaction and value out of the money and time we invest.

This was a F U and total disrespect to the playerbase.

Why did you set the points redistribution for gold at all at the beta stage? What's the point of that? You should understand that the more people can change builds, the more feedback you will have. Just make it free. It changes for gold, and it doesn't affect anything in principle.
I wasted 3 days+ on CoS Monk Build, i might just quit now. WTF GGG, thats such a lame approach to balancing. I shall not re roll a new character. Until this gets fixed im done with poe2...
If your intention was to make everyone play deadeye or melee build, congratulations you did it!!!
Guys, just keep 100k+ gold in your inventory for respecs and don't forget that this is a beta test (*^_^*)
