While my build was not affected by changes, yet, I think letting players more easily respec during big changes a good idea. Swapping passives does in fact cost lots of gold :)

" Nope, it has nothing to do with the economy. There is no economical point in making the respec expensive. It won't function as a gold sink. Vendors are for that. Please tell me one reason why respecing can't be 10 times cheaper because I can't think of one. Another point is that they can balance the respec cost later. It's completely idiotic to try to balance the respec cost now when half of the game will change anyway. I am sorry, but someone at GGG is making a very stupid decision about something super simple if you think about it for a few minutes. It's obvious they are rushing for no apparent reason. |

I am perfectly fine with the nerfs even if I played CoF. But not actually giving the player base a free respec following such a major patch is just disrespectful to players time.

what they've done here with the Sorceress makes no sense at all - neither with the argument that it's an “EA game” nor that it's a “beta” - if it were, then other features like “Respec” must be free or cost only a fraction of what they do right now. After all, it is a “beta” or an “EA” right? ;)
Treating customers like this makes no sense whatsoever and if the patch is not adapted, many will leave. |
