Fix your support system, hire more staff. This isn't acceptable.

This is absolutely in violation of consumer trust laws. However, there are certain provisions that are given before legal action is taken. Given the number of complaints and people unable to access what was paid for, and of course the most recent public push to punish companies legally for anti-consumer practices, someone is likely already drafting a class action that will never settle before they manage to fix things and everyone forgets about it.

For those who can afford a lawyer that is.

One of the biggest issues here is that they generally don't make mistakes, they're very reliable but when they do make mistakes they have almost no systems in place to correct them especially when those mistakes are grevious and at great expense to the consumer.

I'm sorry GGG but its true and you need to get policy's in place to account for these instances.

All we want is just unlinking our steam account, now they are forcing us to take them to the court, bruh...
How could a company be so short-sighted like this to spend so much time and money on hyping up their product (flying out content creators, paying them to stream the game, twitch drops etc) but to have a completely broken support system in place. These are suppose to be intelligent people. I refuse to believe they didn't know this would happen. It's clear there are thousands of people who have paid for something they cannot access. Surely the media will pick this up soon. Maybe that will force them to do something.

I don't think they are taking this seriously enough. Why didn't you spend a little of that money you gave to streamers on building a working support system ?

Exactly this! And this weekend there are discounted items I was interested in purchasing. I’ve started sending the same email daily.
"Hey there, please send us an email at support@grindinggear.com which will fail to arrive in our mailbox and even if it does, we unfortunately won't respond to it for at least 3 weeks. Even if we do reply, it will not be solved in our initial reply, you'll have to wait a further 3 weeks for us to reply again. Thank you"
I can't even post on reddit as the mods remove the post instantly lmao

100% agree. sell me a game that can't even log in due to Account Locked and can't even receive code to unlock it.

Welcome to the GGG way of handling issues.
If you are a streamer/influencer they will do everything for you, give you priority to cut server queue, offering you stuff, priority support.
You are a normal user, even if you spent thousands they simply don't care, you are worthless to them.
GGG had a good reputation years ago, it's over, some people thought that things will change with POE 2, spoiler alert, it doesn't, it only get worse.
