Also if you want a refund you can still do it using Steam/Epic or whatever. And if you bought the EA on POE.com you can play using the standalone.
There are a lot of issues and requests but actually, many of them are from players who can still at least play somehow until the mess is gone and things are back to normal.. While some other people can't play at all.
I can't play, I have a deactivated email and they ask me for verification code which I can't receive, then they won't change my email address for me, so basically it's money down the drain.

Imagine if you need to contact a real human being for simple things as UNLINKING STEAM ACCOUNT, I know New Zealand is not the busiest place on the world but how do they keep anything running their at this abysmal efficiency?

So you can still login to POE.com if you email is invalid but not login to the game? that's weird...
Yeah, they should hire people before, especially people saying they are contacting support for weeks already so it's not just since the release..
Also, they could avoid so many issues if their merging system doesn't create subaccounts and just puts all in one unique account and if they just put a simple unlink button for Steam/Epic exactly like they did for Twitch... really can't understand the logic behind that.

So I redeemed my key on steam right? When I log in it asks me to connect an account, naturally I wouldn't want to connect it to an inaccessible account, so I connected it to another account, and lo and behold! "YOU HAVE NO ACCESS OF THE EA ON THIS ACCOUNT"
And guess what I have to do to unlink my steam account? Yup, emails.

No, the key for steam that you use isn't an EA access key, it's a client key. They are different. You get multiple Keys for the same account to play on different platforms (Steam/Epic..) but these keys are just to download the client/launcher they don't give EA. Can see some info here:

So you now you linked your steam account to a new POE account so you can't use that anymore. However, if you still got your Epic client key, what you can try is to add your Epic account to your old POE account then launch the game via Epic.

I already know that, and that's stupid, no other game company operate this way. And you need to stop being their voluntary support.

Already purchased it on a different account, so I can play. But I can't bring myself to play the game cause whenever I see the game I got reminded of this mess.
