STOP WHINING ABOUT DIFFICULITY
if you don't like it, PLAY SOMETHING ELSE, 14 YEARS, OF COURSE THERES GONNA BE CHANGE
I'm tired of people whining about how difficult the game is, or why certain effects or features are stupid, and my response? Get better. Why are you gonna whine about so much change when it's been 14 years? This is PUBG all over, when they revamped the entire system. If you have a actual complaint, whether bug report or certain device issues, then shoot, but if your feedback is difficulty, play at least a few hours and learn the game, instead of playing for ten minutes then crying about the changes. AND BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING,
This game is not yet finished, it's early access for a reason? They are done with beta testing and going through fine tuning, so stop whining and expecting they'll change difficulty. |
|
FYI - Alpha testing comes before Beta testing. This is alpha level software.

I appreciate you coming here to yell at other players instead of focusing on the reason behind people's complaints about the difficulty of the game. I, for one, think it's way over-tuned. I had pretty great gear on my merc, and if I wasn't using grenade combos, I couldn't kill anything. Bosses took 10min+ to kill. I made a witch, caught up to my Merc's level in about a quarter of the time. Some classes and builds are really bad right now, and it makes the game seem much more difficult than it may actually be. Add that to the fact that, in general, mobs are very spongy, and bosses are extremely spongy, and it turns a good game into a very unrewarding slog.

Bro pushed his glasses up and hit us with the Ackshually XD
This is how it always goes always without fail. Devs should focus on bugs controls and balance. If you made a shit game morphing it around the community won't fix it. You drop your vision and then polish the smoothness of it. They need to find their new fans and, gently if necessary, let the old crowd go. EDIT: The Mercenary feels awesome and yes you have to load different ammunition for combos to be effective. Both of my hands are constantly busy. Just need to polish the auto targeting. Otherwise it's exactly what it should be. Last edited by Madder#7577 on Dec 10, 2024, 6:17:17 PM

No.
General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.

The Elitist gamers are on to the 'next big thing' when it comes out. Once you Boss Fight guys one and done the game it will be over, like a single player game. BET, in 2 years PoE 1 will have higher active player numbers than PoE 2. Last edited by ThomasK_GGG#0000 on Dec 10, 2024, 7:07:41 PM

" The old crowd is who paid for this game to be made in the first fuckin place. Letting go of players who are willing to spend their hard earned money with your company would be a shit business decision. There's plenty of changes they could make that'd please both crowds without actually breaking the game. And as far as finding new fans, I'm sorry but the average person doesn't enjoy beating their head against a wall for an hour to feel like they're making no progress. Soulslikes are a meme and not as popular as some of you think they are. Most people beat them once and never touch them again. And without at least a little lowering of difficulty, this current state would just be unfun to do on alts or every season |

"Apparently this was removed for being antagonistic... on a thread that is telling us to Stop Whining and Get Good... I can't even begin to express how silly that is. The guy clearly started the thread to antagonize people but I can't respond? Like delete the thread or let us discuss his 'get good and stop whining' line sheesh. |

" The old crowd didn't pay for PoE 2. The Developers made a game that you enjoyed spending money on. Gives you no license or extra privilege to the future. It's like any game. Maybe I liked the first one, maybe the sequel is ass for me personally. Like I would be disappointed if Hollow Knight Silksong ends up sucking. But if it does then I won't play it. I don't grow some sort of entitled attachment to what a company does. I go outside and touch grass then move on. Your money pays for the time you have with it, it makes no guarantee of direction that a company moves forward. If you like the company it's because you enjoy their vision. Another issue is that human beings don't do well with change. A lot of the bitching seems to come from PoE2 not PoE with shinier graphics. Gotta cut the old crowd and keep growing. Such is life. If you have a vision build it. The vision on PoE2 is good with great potential for an excellent future and many hours of fun. If you want to play PoE they already built it go play it. PoE2 is NOT PoE. But lastly and not leastly, There are a bunch of players from PoE that enjoy PoE2 so what makes your money any more important than theirs? I don't buy your bull for one second.
