Questions answer yes/no ?

Just to add i havent traded or plan to trade any time soon.
Just crafted awesome staff from blue i bought from vendor.
Playing ssf style with a friend so we do trade together but not with others for now.
Also if you think you get "insane" items with 1ex in poe you know nothing. Espesially when market gets normal and not early acces noobfest.
Real insane items are far far more expensive.

Well for Diablo 2, yes it's true you could example trade rare runes for good items. But because it was multiplayer game it didn't actually matter how good your items were. Why? Because endgame you joined with your shitty gear for endless baal/cow runs. So technically D2 is worst example.

But in PoE 2 let's say you are stuck act 3. Well just trade 5 x Exhalted for godly items. Grats you just bypassed every challenge.

But SSF itself is dumb because it doesn't allow you to trade or party with few of your friends. I can't also play hardcore because PoE 2 killed it.

So I'm left with standard league where I occasionally party and play by my own SSF rules and have to penalize myself.

I was very generous when I said I would only nerf 10% hc. Even with this you still die before 30 so who cares.

And you know what I would die too because game is broken. In poe 1 I could get 80 hc. Here in my dreams.

What stops you from getting boosted with your shitty gear in this or any other arpg like in diablo?
What stopped you from buying god tier gear in D2?
Sure maby you could not do that with your first character but with a second or third?
Also you dont have to "cheat" as you put it. Just dont trade.
Also trading does not defeat the purpose of hc. Maby in your mind it does and i get your point of view but again. Dont trade or play ssf if it offends you too much.
Trading has allways beign a thing in most arpg:s. Even in diablo 2. Eventually 99% of people traded something in endgame hc.

1 - Every trade depends on two people accepting, the one who offers and the one who receives, so if you don't want to exchange, just don't exchange.
2 - POE has an exclusive league for those who want to play without trading and it seems to me that the loot is even better in it (I don't know)
3 - D2 is a game that with 2 CDs and running on 32-bit memory changed the gaming industry forever, you saying that D2 is not an example proves that you don't know what you're talking about.
4 - Life is made of overcoming, my friend, and in video games, all challenges are made to be overcome. The challenge has NEVER been the focus of ANY good RPG or ARPG, but rather the gameplay and the possibility of trying the game again with different builds and testing how far you can go. That's what makes you play again and again.
-including here is my criticism of souls like that are failed games and whose retention lasts less than 24 hours. I'm not a professional player but I finished elden ring in 50 min. the record is 28.....Mechanical dances and bosses with HK are not difficulty, they are just crutches for bad devs who have never played a tabletop RPG in their lives.

I don't know, but I bet the answer will be eventually discussed under the POE 2 sub-forum
