PoE 2 is boring and not fun

While I think Op is exaggerating quite a lot, at the same time I think they are right. So far the balance is so far off. Honestly i cannot even get through act 1. I have 3 classes so far and the sorceress has dies at least 20 times on final boss of act 1. I even leveled like 5-10 times and still cant get through.
Yes a lot of elitist will say get good, but like i said elitist. Honestly POE was hard enough, I never got past 85 and end game was challenging enough for me and 90+% of people playing. Yes some people say its not hard enough but achievements tell me an overwhelming majority disagree. No need to make 2 harder and balance it better.
That being said I am not giving up yet but I don't have a lot of faith for the near future. Like Blizzard I think the Devs will listen to the hard core and ignore the majority and then wonder why over time it begins to fail.
Bottom line is, the game is not fun. After 22+ hours on PS5 i will not continue.

The game itself is horribly optimized on PS5, with fps drops, screen tearing, general bugs and small text that gives you a headache trying to read it.

But other then the PS5 stuff it just isn't fun. It feels like a full time job, I'm slow and areas take forever to clear out, gear drops are awful, the bosses are also awful, I thought I was going to be playing an arpg, not a top down souls like with arpg elements.

You might very well enjoy the game, but YOU are in the minority.

It makes no sense to say "go back to poe1" or "go back and play ruthless"

We need the whole player base to keep up money thats needed to develop the game and the leagues in future.

Seems that we need different game modes. Should not be to tricky to develop this in the long run.
White mobs are too spongy and do too much damage for being the weakest type in the genre.
This makes defensive stats feel weak and turns map clearing into a slog unless you have one of the few OP builds.
In combination with the huge maps and loot scarce it turns pushing through the campaign into the slog.
Thats not how it should be.
This game is a massive slog. Unbearable acts 2 and 3 with massive maps that take your time and give NOTHING in return that u have to suffer again in higher difficulty. Its just plain unbearable. Wanna try to level more characters? prepare for another golgotha is the way it is right now.

Way to fix this is to start mapping at end of 1st playthrough. One difficulty progression per act is enough and doable.
Finished the 3 acts.

Still having a blast.

I'm playing what's likely the slowest possible character build in whole game (Giant's Blood titan with 2 2H maces), and still it's absolutely fun.

I agree PoE2 is an undercover Ruthless, it is quite boring doing again and again a map because you die and mobs respawn every time. As is superboring going in Town every 3 minutes to refill flasks. There's no valuable loot, so you find yourself to fight a rare foe again and again and have like 2 blue items and some gold back.

GGG: ruthless is not equal fun (maybe is it for you).

I've been having a lot of fun, sure I've hit brick walls a few times, but that's part of the fun in how to overcome those problems.

I do think the campaign difficulty needs to be toned down a bit, but hey, it's only been out a week and is EA.
