DEX STACKING BALLISTA

I'm having some success with using a bow and quiver with +lvl to projectile skills as my weapon swap. Currently i have a crossbow to place my artillery ballista and then i weapon swap to bow and quiver with gas arrow. this allows you to get the +2 extra levels for ballista from the quiver. also i'm pretty sure that the +phys and fire damage and attack speed from the quiver add to the ballista damage while you have your bow out.

I'm only level 48, but the end goal is to get +6 levels from bow, +2 from quiver, and +3 from amulet. recent buffs to artillery ballista are nice. and mana is a problem, but hopefully it works out

edit: crossbow and bow can both get a combined +7 to level, so the only benefit is the global damage added from quiver.

That's a very interesting idea. But instead using a rare bow, we can use this bow to increase stat from quiver since ballista does not inherit anything good from bow. With we can get more than triple added attack, projectile level, attack speed, dex and accuracy

That's a very interesting idea. But instead using a rare bow, we can use this bow to increase stat from quiver since ballista does not inherit anything good from bow. With we can get more than triple added attack, projectile level, attack speed, dex and accuracy

Attack speed on quiver applies to you, not your Ballistas, same goes for accuracy and Dex. While it does good stuff if you attack with e.g. Gas arrow it is useless for Ballistas. It feels like the 3rd merc Ascendancy could be build around Ballistas otherwise it is ridiculous to require crossbow on any other Ascendancy (that is if we don't get yet another Str/Dex oriented class that focuses on crossbows).

Until we get any Ballista-oriented unique crossbow both skills are just trash.

I didn't know attack speed on quiver only apply to yourself, it's global mod right?

About dex and accuracy, I don't need it apply to ballista anyway, why ballista need dex and too much accuracy? I need it to stack attack speed from passive skill.

And sure ballista at this moment is lack of everything. Not only there is no class/ascendancy suitable for ballista but alse there are no good item for it.

Anyway it's just early access, we can just test it out then when the game release officially we will have some knowledge to make a proper ballista build
