maps are toooo big and maze like
endgame maps and one death are too punishing some skills have performance issues like ice and purple chaos on mobs uncut gems are just nonsense if u want give an ability to players to use every skill gem just by having their attributes and character level passive trees are too much damage variant drops are so worse, just having one crossbow from level 24 to 65 which i made it buy crafting (trans aug regal ex ex..) labs have way much difficulty vs how much your character power has the tablet item drop for completing labs shouldn't increase their level (better to have specific level for each lab run) simpler i say just make it like poe 1 labs level.33 55...etc i think nobody like the sanctum version of labs which you lose just by losing honour :| didnt try more classes for now and i know its an EA game wish good thing for poe2 IV

I see a lot of whining saying its too hard this, maps too big that, whine whine whine. Sounds a lot like a bunch of water downed arpg mechanics from other games have tainted many peoples opinions. Bunch of lazy normies.
I for one. Really enjoy searching the entire map, you know how many times the last part explored and urn broken yields an orb or something valuable? At least a dozen. The combat is rewarding and if you fail at kiting or blocking or dodging you take hard to recover hits. WHICH is good. All these 1 tap warrior types complaining that mechanics are too hard should just learn to play and shut up. Only thing I take issue with is no Templar atm. Thats who I want to play. Besides that all I see in whiny D4 players crying that the game isnt as easy as D4. Well... its not D4. If ya dont like the dark souls vibe of challenge, huge maps, skill then bloody leave. |

" You have to ask why you care about over-rewarding players. Is it because you are fundamentally seeking to use frustration as a mechanism to force players to spend more hours playing your game than they would otherwise be inclined to? Using frustration as a player retention mechanism is failing the industry at large. This is doubly true for AAA games and mature gamer audiences. GGG has the opportunity to lead the industry away from this bad practice. The fans are waiting to see if they have the confidence to differentiate themselves from the crowd. Retain players with a genuinely fun game play loop that is highly replayabe and rewarding. Not with psychologically exploitive mechanisms like endless treadmills. RESPECCING TO EXPENSIVE
Making respeccing so expensive ruins the enjoyment of the game... gamers do not want to feel punished. It will turn off a lot of people from continuing to play the game, especially new players. Also forces players to follow cookie cutter builds and not experiment. This game is amazing, but that is my only major complaint besides some bugs that I am sure will be fixed. |

Glaring issues in maps
-Some maps only spawn 2-3 rares(3 with atlas passive), obviously needs fixing asap -Some white mobs are way too overtuned, doing more damage than bosses or rares. I wouldnt assume its not intended, but getting 1-2 shot by one of the 20/400 broken white mobs is absolutely a terrible feel. -There are maps that are full bugged and it cant even be progressed after retrying, i had vaal factory map on crossroads to another map zone and it had udnerground rare mob that couldnt be killed. -99.9% Uniques are dogwater, sorry. After fixing mapping experience you should take some time and rework most of them. -Perfomance issues(especially during breach), netcode(pathing?) issues with ice wall. I understand its same engine from poe1 so i expected game to run bad at the end, and it does. Maps with %movement and attack on mobs are by default half the fps. |
