Bloodmage [EA] - "Sanguine Bonemage" - Phys/Crit Build (+ some Bleed/Break)

How much strength and int is being put into the "any Attribute" small nodes by the end? At some point are you going mostly int or str? Or half/half through the entire tree?
Playing bloodmage too , add to the build skeleton snipers that break armor with the 2 gems, really good addition and the wand that gives you power charges is interesting too.

stacking crit/cast speed now.

for clearing maps i am still using the 2dots just spread and run away.

there is a great potential there i think once you have some extra gear with leech , and magic armor is important it seems playing it like HALO "lose shield run recharge"

I did half and half through level 50 then mostly Str. It depends on items if you can respec some to Str after that. You need 205 Int for a max level skill gem, plus up to +5 per Int support gem, so potentially 230ish Int? Then considering any item requirement needs. All the rest can be Str, unless you also are needing Dex.
Not sure if this has been discussed / people are aware but there is a slight tech for bonestorm that removes the movement speed penalty while channeling. Made a video showing it:

ive taken the reduced area of effect cluster and i cant really tell if it is making my bone storm tighter. on bosses it FEELS as tho im hitting more projs but im not sure if that placebo or not. interesting idea at least, tho it does make my dd smaller. however, for bossing it might be good if its tigther? also, i dropped bleed almost completely cus it felt relativly lackluster damage wise, idk how you all feel on it.

Thanks! I've heard a bit about this. I'm sure they will patch it out, but probably fun til then!

Reduced area of effect is smart, didn't think of that. Yeah, it would seem like it would help. Maybe the best test of it is against the small enemies Bonestorm usually struggles to hit?

As for Bleed, yeah, I feel you on that. I've had one boss die to Bleed unexpectedly while I was busy dodging mechanics, but mostly it seems lackluster. Kinda depends on how the next patch notes come out. But ultimately, the main issue is Bonestorm does a bunch of small hits, so only tiny bleed magnitude. Bleed will really come online when we get Reap.

Improvements to Bone Spells...

Yes! This is why I have stuck to this build!

A Physical-focused Witch is hinted at as a viable possibility by the nodes: nodes that would be elemental for Sorc are Phys-focused for the Witch, and many of the Crit-boosting nodes also give a bump in Phys damage on even though we are on the caster side of the tree. But it under-performs compared to the elemental alternatives.

I was betting that while unintentionally successful builds were getting evened-out/slightly nerfed, some would also be brought up!

Sadly, I don't think we'll see Reap in this patch, but still pumped to see how this works out!

I've been following this build off and on. Appreciate the work so far. I do want to point out how important Redflare Conduit and Snakepit is to damage. It's massive and really spikes the damage. Getting redflare first is probably the most important.

i used concentrated effect to try and amplify the effect to see if it was placebo and it seems as if it was, the grouping doesnt seem any tighter than without it sadly :( oh well, reaping staff, please ggg
