[POE2] Blood Mage Ascendancy is hopeless
I just posted this before reading this but here are my views on each node
Sanguimancy - forced start so you cant take it till you have 2 ascendancies. also is there any need for both mana and life cost just make it life cost its a punishing shitty start node already vitality siphon - I feel forced to have to take this node due to sanguimancy just combine the 2 and allow for a greater build Varity. blood barbs - i haven't tried a build using that so cant comment Open Sores - now this just plain old sucks i cant see any instance of taking this node. i should be struggling to make choices for possible builds on ascendancy nodes and in no build do i see this as useful! make it increased curse count with a further node for increased curse effect and the nodes in-between increases curse aoe Gore spikes - cool i kinda like it but bit under whelming maybe 60-70 life per a 1% More Sunder flesh - since most spells have low crit its good Grasping wounds - its ok and just ok at that Crimson Power - Really want to use this node but in every instance its just to far from start to take as i have spent 2 to get vitality siphon and the Sanguimancy that i end up having to go gore spikes sunder because i want to use a unique chest piece that supplies bugger all es so then it becomes a useless node. Make this a % of total es as life node P.s level 89 blood mage that does corpse wade hex blast its good and all but honestly i could go infernalist or sorcer for a better version of the same build Last edited by Drayid#1735 on Feb 3, 2025, 11:30:06 AM
