POE2 Win11 24H2 Crashes - Constant crashing, >100% CPU usage, and more
Same issue. I sent an email to the support but dont know if they consider or not. With Dx12 Cpu usage mostly around 90 percent but with Vulkan it becomes around 25 35 percent. However when you change the map by using portal to town or passing new area it often crashes with %100 all cores usage. That's little bit annoying...

Greetings,
Experiencing severe issue in POE2 where my system gets completely frozen when traveling between zones on loading screen. It happens on every 5th or 6th loading scene. When system freezes mouse and keyboard are completely unresponsive, so only solution is to completely shut down my PC on power button. At this point need to stop playing the game until issue is fixed since it messes up my entire system. Ryzen 7600 Nvidia 4070 super Driver: 566.36 Windows 24H2 |

Same here.
Game just freezes randomly during a fight/ changing zone. Black screen, not responding to any input. Ryzen 5700X3D 32GB DDR4 Ram RTX 3080 Windows24H2 |

Unfortunately I've encountered the same. I built a new machine to specifically make use of PoE's better graphics and from what I can see its been built specifically to die while playing the game it was intended for.
My crashes have been specifically when changing zone, however I've only managed to get through the first zone before the first town before the crashes occurred. Specs: Ryzen 7 7800X3D 64GB DDR5 Ram at 64000 MHz 4080 Super Windows 11: v24H2 Have tried some of the ideas listed here and on reddit, nothing appears to help. |

Same problem here with win 11 24h2, 9800x3d and 4090 :( what atleast helped to stop the whole pc from freezing is to use process lasso to permanently disable cpu0 for path of exile. It still freezes, but i can just kill the process and restart the game

Same issue. Recently got a new PC, everything came in early on the 6th, what a coincidence! My excitement would soon be stunted.
Specs: Latest version of Windows 11 24H2 Ryzen 9800x3d Rtx 4080 Super Asrock x870E Nova Mobo 12/6 - All is well for about 5-6 hours. Start getting hard crashes in the evening 12/7 - Start doing some research and log viewing. First did clean install of GPU driver. Turned off RAM overclocking and integrated GPU. Still crashing. I review logs again and find an error from a driver related to Logitech G Hub, lamp-array driver. Uninstalled G Hub with Revo uninstaller then went back to old Logitech Gaming Software. Runs fine the rest of the night. 12/8 - Starts out the day running okay. Get my first crash while teleporting about midway through the day, but then go on for several hours without another crash. Later in the evening, starts crashing on every teleport. From here, I've tried every recommended fix I could find. -Uninstalled any Windows update that occurred since I turned PC on for first time. -Switch from Dx12 to Vulkan. -Turned off Nvidia Reflex -Turned off Triple Buffering -Turned off CPU Core 0 -Turned off CPU 0 and 1 (Ended up getting game crash immediately upon entering game this time) -Probably some other tweaks I'm forgetting The only option I haven't tried is disabling multi-threading before any loading, because I'm not about to do all that. Ever since I got rid of the Logitech issue, I haven't been able to see what is causing the crash in the event log aside from 1 poe.exe entry. Only one I see is "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first." From what I've seen, with a few exceptions, majority of the reports are Ryzen X3D CPUs, and mostly Windows 11 24H2. Looks like this game will be going on the shelf for a while. |

Same here since Windows 11 24H2
________________________________________________________________________ What helped me was the following: You need to manually set the virtual memory. I set the minimum to 4096 MB and the maximum to 32768 MB, which uses my system SSD as virtual RAM. This was previously managed by the system and was set to around 2094 MB or so. I assume that the paging file is larger and that the system does not adjust the size in time or at all. ___________________________________________________________________________ To do this, press Windows key + R and type sysdm.cpl. In the Advanced tab, select the first section. Then, again under the Advanced tab, you can set the virtual memory. You can give it a try; this has currently solved the problem for me.
