This issue did resolve itself after I gave it about 30 min of not trying to login with the character - which I assume reset the instance.

+1 - Just happened to me in Act 6 Jungle Ruins around Silverfist area. Game performance has been terrible. Frequent stuttering and fps drops.
AMD RX 6700 XT Ryzen 5 5600x. Tried a variety of fixes found on these forums and elsewhere. Nothing has helped. In combat my fps tanks from 100+ roaming around to 35-40 while fighting. Last edited by Witchtime#4587 on Dec 14, 2024, 11:29:00 PM

Same error here.
Since 2018-09-15, GGG terrible anti-customer policy resulted in me taking this stance :
