Verifying files in Steam seems to have fixed it for me

So, known issue? It sounds like it has been happening since the 8th? Verifying the files didn't work for me, trying to do a fresh install.
Reinstalled. Game worked, punished by the elite for 4 times or more I can't get away from, then Buffer Underflow again. Not sure what to do with checking the files and fresh install. Last edited by amoeba76#6441 on Dec 9, 2024, 10:21:09 PM

The same thing happened to me in Act 3. I can't log into that character anymore. I can create a new character and the game runs fine, but I can't log back into my main. Suck's cause i spent so many hours on him and I just finished act 2 struggling with the final boss. Now my character is gone, presumably forever. So deflating man.

Same issue, Jungle Ruins, Cruel difficulty. Can't log in.

i HAVE JUST HAD THIS ISSUE myself as well in the jungle of act 3. Running around randomly i had the "Buffer Overflow" message appear and forced closed my game. Every time i try and load back in i get the same issue and force closes my game. Cannot get past the loading screen. I will try within the instance reset timer hoping that helps. GGG please fix this. Thank you.. Message is for POE2 Idk if this is the thread for it or not.
