I had this bug and i've been ticking on/off multithreading before any map loading to avoid crashing. They've should made an official workaround to disable multithreading on loading for people with this bug.

Lately I've started observing same issue in PoE1, so IMO this issue is not too deep

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD; FIX YOUR SHIT.
It's so annoying to lose loot, maps (portal closes until reboot etc), caused on a OS freeze..
I've to restard my PC 2x to initilaize my RAM correct.

It's almost 2+ months now.
Even the community did a PoE Uncrasher on gitgub as a workaround.

What are your Devs doing?
Didn't read any statemant.

I guess the ingame shop is more important.

This is far below an early acces title state!
Unplayable!

Sorry to say but this is unplayable. I am unable to make 3 maps in a row because of this bug. I also tried to investigate the crash and tried to post it here and also on other thread. No reply from GGG.

I am tired of losing loot and maps due to this bug. Also took me some tries just to get the ascendancy points :(

I am losing my mind. my entire pc freezing when I load into about half of areas and maps. I did a clean install. Ive verified the files. I have lowered everything in graphic settings down to bare bones. I dont have crazy good hardware but my pc has never had this issue. Is there a fix for this?

No permanent fix. There are several bandaid solutions that can help for a while. I've tried every single solution and sometimes they work for a while and then it starts happening again.

I'm going to do another stress test on my PC tomorrow to be absolutely sure it's not my settings/rig. I have zero issues with other games.

At this point, I highly recommend just not playing. Don't risk harming your hardware. Don't be their test dummy and let them sort it out, if they ever will.
I'm surprised this isn't talked about more other than here.

Play other games and stop wasting time on this trash.

This is not a GGG issue, this is a windows malfunction with the DXDIAG drivers.

You couldn't be more wrong. I am able to play every other game, flawlessly, with no crashes, with a 9800X3D and 4080 Super.

Windows is not at fault, this is solely a GGG issue that they refuse to acknowledge.
