POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen
" You are cherry-picking portions of the EA description to fit your narrative. I posted the exact, specific language that says it is a "full purchase of a playable game". But go ahead and ignore that and focus on the vagueness of "changes" which are reasonably and universally interpreted as "gameplay/cosmetic/balance/stability" changes. No one would interpret this to mean that a change would be "it does not work, but will some day." Because then the opposite would have to be true. It would mean that the developer could one day decide to implement a "change" that fundamentally breaks the game and makes it unplayable, and you'd just point to that clause and say "see, but right here it says 'may or may not change further'." The primary, superseding clause in Steam's description of Early Access is "full purchase of a playable game". Full stop. Anything after that does not negate that sentence. You clearly don't work in contract law so you don't understand this, but your argument would not hold up in court. |

" You are surely right :D just posting a solution to what we have noticed until GGG finds a solution for this. So people do not have to crash all the time. I mean if there is a way to bypass a crash for now that is a good thing? :) Last edited by Drahgozah#6092 on Jan 23, 2025, 2:07:18 PM

.... But basically we-as paying customers- have the right to know: .... Sir, you are a paying customer to a product that didn't fulfill your expectations, you do not have the right to anything you have asked for. Move on, you have hijacked this thread multiple times with your Karen Crusade. Do you demand a detailed report every time you go out to a movie and your expectations weren't met? How about when any large company posts something that you don't agree with, do you demand answers to their internal workings and core structure to ensure that you, specifically you, a disgruntled customer, keep coming back. No. Stop. Be constructive and helpful, or uninstall and go back to something else. Last edited by Greystreett#3841 on Jan 23, 2025, 2:03:52 PM

" First of all: The game does not work at all. This is beyond "a product that didn't fulfill your expectations", the product simply is not there. And yes, if a company sells a faulty product, the usual response from them is an apology and explanation. GGG is in the wrong here. We-as paying customers- have the right to know: 1) What went wrong? 2) What you are doing to fix it? 3) What possible causes have you eliminated as the source of the problem? 4) What triggers have you discovered that starts the resource hog loop other than "zone change"? (This one is really important because it allows players to create workarounds) 5) What is your estimated time of fix? 6) How did this sort of bug managed to avoid detection in your testing period? 7) What you will be doing to compensate players that have been affected by this issue? 8) Whether refunds would be made available for those that are no longer interested in playing the game? As long as they are not doing this our only other option is to increase the pressure and warn others by giving a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam in a detailed and informative manner. I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do: 1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad. 2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review. 3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there. |

" Imagine going to Target to exchange a brand new TV that doesn't work out of the box and they say "sorry, sir, but you're just a disgruntled customer and you're not entitled to anything. Now please be constructive. Go home and learn how to repair a television or go do something else." |

" This is one of the worst sentence I have ever seen. Hey let me buy a car, if the car doesn't work, you have no right to anything. I'm starting to feel this thread has some peoples/bots pay to deflect topics (It's hard to believe so many peoples would defend a billion dollar company so strongly) or create confusion on a real simple reality. GGG sold a EA game that is not playable and they avoid any communication about it to avoid any kind of refunds. They can't find a fix so they trying to avoid anything related to a refund. |
|
" It 100% does. Beyond the bizarre GGG defenders, there are constant posts of people just wandering in and going "hey, I fixed it, I rolled back to 23H2" as though there aren't 450 pages of documentation saying that this or any other "fix" does not work. Like, it would not take more than 30 seconds of reading on ANY page in this thread to see that literally everything has been suggested and none of it has permanently, universally worked. |

" The game doesn't work for you. the game doesn't work for many others, me included. The game works for MANY MANY MANY others perfectly fine. I invite you to look at any twitch or youtube stream showing thousands of people playing uninterupted. Having every other post being from you, with your copy and paste endings, demanding answers from a company that owes you specifically, private and potentially proprietary information, is counterproductive to the issues at hand. People coming to find potential solutions in this thread having to scroll through 450 pages now with a large portion of them you demanding answers and spamming Steam review mandates and now an 8 bullet demand letter. Please have some common decency for others using this forum too. |
|
" You've been proven wrong several times now yet you still keep saying the same thing. Your post is the ultimate pot calling the kettle black response. |
