"Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access" - Error when logging in

Bought a key and unlocked early access via dedicated client. After a cople of week of play i've the same issue

A friend of mine gifted me a key. I redeemed it here on the PoE2 Website which gave me a steam key, which I also redeemed on steam. Couldn't play, because I went on vacation. Came back yesterday and wanted to play, clicked on log in: Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Went here, looked under Path of Exile 2 Early Access: Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access.

Where is my access I had before? I log in the first time I downloaded the client, so I had early access 100 %.

I am having same issue only mine is through EPIC. How long does it take for a response? Is this something that can even be fixed?

Payed 30 € cant play and everything was correctly connected, played already 20 hours or so but now my account states that I got no early access?

Is this a scam?????!

I can see the character I've already played in my account, but the early access is no longer there even though I've paid for it... no reponse from the support regarding this is just a slap in the face. I feel scammed.

I bought a support pack on steam, installed the game on my steam deck and tried to log in, it says account locked. So I log into the website just fine until I go and try to link my steam account and it says that I cannot modify the log in details of a locked account.

So I log into path of exile (also on steam) and I log in
just ...... fine? Is my account locked or isn't it? Account info says I don't have access to early access and the forums says that if it's bought through steam I don't need an access key, that the game should just work.

Did I just hand someone money in a scam?

I am having the same issue but on PS5, however I can download the poe2 beta but I have to pay for the poe2 founders pack early access. Is there a difference? I've also upgraded to the lord of faridun supporter pack as well. I've got over 200 hours in so I don't know how I don't have access to a game I have been playing. could it be that I bought the game on the ps store app on my phone? I honestly don't have a clue...help me!!! hope it gets sorted for us all!

I am also having the same issue.

I had a friend purchase me a copy of the early access, I have been able to connect it to my path of exile account - where logging into it tells me that I do indeed have early access (yes, green text and everything) - and I have been able to connect the steam key provided to my steam account - and download the client - but running the game (and after I am told that one of my graphics drivers it old and I should update) then tells me that my account doesn't have Early Access, and that I should purchase it...

On top of that, my first message to support@grindinggear.com was on the 11th of December 2024, with my attempts to send follow up messages on the 16th, as well as the 13th of January 2025. At no point have I received any response from anyone at GGG, and honestly, pretty dissapointed with this entire experience.

If I were to /guess/ what the problem was on my end, it would be that since I had to make a new account for PoE2, since I couldn't remember my credentials for PoE1, I've gone and made one, but Steam is telling the servers whatever my old PoE1 credentials to the PoE2 servers which I guess would be true, since I have no idea what those account details are, but I'm just speculating at this point.
