You can check at poe2 ninja: https://poe2.ninja/builds/ From my experience last patch, I'd say unleash on contagion is the must, other is up to preference. Most popular setup is magnified effect on contagion, swift afliction/zenith for ED, I believe. Chain on ED is also very popular, as it helps for clearing (not required if you have nleash on contagion, though). And I still hardly see any reason to use >lvl 1 contagion. Even though it contradicts philosophy of GGG as they told they want us to want to level up gems, as long as contagion level up is just damage, it's really hard to justify increase in mana cost. GGG really needs an option to look at poe2 characters on people's accts, unless I'm just missing it, tried a minion build, hated it, want to try this so I guess I'm just gonna go in blind until more info is out there, but thanks @jack3dm#0444 for the passive tree Edit, I'm liking the build and everything seems alright, except my single target dps seems super low, hoping it gets better, just got to a2 normal Edit 2 - I'm in a3 now and the single target dps is kinda low still, but there's a couple things I'm getting soon that should help, but looking at what everyone's recommending for ascended points Price of Power should be one, but I'm not seeing where the power charge generation is coming from to support it. Damage that is bypassing is ignored. You are also ignoring bleed and poison if you have ES. 5. Recoup is being registered even when ignored. If you have even 1 ES there is no way to change life. So, I am a very big noob on build crafting, but this is what I have been doing so far (reading the nodes and trying to see if they make sense) https://maxroll.gg/poe2/passive-tree/riduf0id (used a maxroll link because the other I was testing seemed wrong) Am I in the correct track? I am very low level So I am using ED (With Swift Affliction and Chain) and Contagion (With area and profanity). Using Unearth to help clear and a bit of cleaving. Sorry if I am asking something obvious, I am trying to learn not to just follow a guide blindly. Ty Sure, the current character I am working on is this: https://poe2.ninja/account/character/87642/Atropos_doh As you can see, the Build I sent before is a bit latter level it was kind of my plan. Gear is, well, bad. I am more concern if I am understanding how to build what I want (that is basically the Queen of Chaos ideal) since I am ways off still. Plan is to get to level 30 this weekend. I also have some level 1 support and level 3 skill gems that I am not sure what to do with.
