These last two posts exactly. People are waiting around to just post negative stuff about a guy whos trying his hardest on a build we all want to try. Glad to see Ichigo has such support from friends!

Definitly enjoying playing ED, i don't need to kill a boss in 3 seconds to enjoy the game. And i do hope they fix those builds because i'm pretty sure that's not the intent of PoE2.

" I don't want to say that build is bad (after all, this is the build I played the most in POE 2), but unless OP is cooking something crazy behind the scene, which he deliberately hides from videos, the bossing will be one of the most stressfull experience you can have. He is on life build (again, nothing wrong about this, I'm playing life also), and with the DPS we see, high tier bosses will be ~10 minute slogs during which every ability (life is way weaker than ES atm) should be dodged. If anything it's definition of stressful bossing for me. Saying this, I really like ED mapping. It's indeed pretty stress-free (wouldn't do life on HC in the current state of the game as sometimes oneshots may come, but it's really rare): with recoup you are more-or less immortal (even in bonus damage T16+2 with good enough gear), there is almost no visual clutter and an ability to clear breach for several screens in each direction with a single rotation is really satisfying (currently herald of ice builds can do this faster, but I'm almost sure they will be nerfed). |

" This long slog of a build is the definition of pure stress. It’s laughable this is being passed as some competent build. It’s obvious even OP is super embarrassed by this build that he’s stalled releasing what he’s cooked and only added some tiktok videos of bullshit story act kills that anyone here has achieved with their own put together cookie cutter passive tree slamming. I’ve moved on. It’s obvious Essence Drain is not a focal point skill because there is nothing that scales DoT damage and until they add those affixes and bring back life regen with it then Essence Drain is just a gimmick to make contagion feel good. Not OPs fault that essence drain is extremely underpowered but I do blame Op for not contributing anything to this thread. More players here have helped others than OP has. |

Maybe just post something or whatever you’ve been working with. Most of us here are competent enough to work through it. We just want to see what you have going and can add to it if there’s things you’ve discovered. It’s Early access so this build doesn’t need to be the most perfect thing out there. It’s obvious it’s not just based on the footage you released. You haven’t even given skills or a passive tree. All the extra fluff is just extra fluff to overhype this thread. Most of the posters here have moved on. There’s 51 pages in this thread and most of it is people trying out new things or struggling to even see how Essence drain even works in endgame. You’ve contributed nothing.

Can't wait to see this build. I just finished campaign as blood mage but while I love bonestorm it lacks on map clearing.
Detonate Dead on your minions doesn't feel good as sometimes you have to run around for 8+ seconds waiting your minions to respawn. Probably gonna start trying chaos on my own while the build is cooking. |
