Yall better nerf that titan node
Ya i know, that's what i am saying, there is no Minion Class. And the Gemling Nodes are the only useful ones here, that would help Minions.
All other Classes have nothing for them. So You have to go with Gemling and path a super awful route up there.

Why make Minions in the first place if you are not supporting the Archetype with Ascendancy nodes?
I don't talk about DMG, i mean game changing mechanic's that would alternate the Playstyle.
There is nothing there for Minions and as i said, Jonathan stated in an Interview, that there will be no Minion Class, and doubled down with a contradicting Argument, for why there will be none.
Not his exact quote, but: "If we make a Necromancer, everybody is going to pick the Necromancer!" DUH, Deadeye, Witchhunter, Stormweaver? Its just bullshitting!

Infernalist has many nodes clearly supporting and altering the way your minions function. It has Additional spirit, a way to build around fire damage and ignite for you and MINIONS, and a summonable minion built into the tree. You may not realize this but everything that says "your allies" applies to your minions. There's also another 24 Ascendancy classes to be added over time and at least two of them will be minion oriented. One for witch and one for inquisitor. If none of that pleases you feel free to wait for something that does as eventually it'll be in the game.

I think that these trees do not affect builds in the same way they did in Path of Exile and that is not a good thing, because they significantly limit the variability of builds. I'd be happy to be wrong about it, however right now I personally don't feel excited about these at all.


I feel like we're looking at two different things because basically all of these trees have huge build around potential and variability and would be absolutely overpowered in PoE1.

I like that most of the nodes are so good that you want to take them all. With that said there are some that are underwhelming or outright boring.

I'll refrain from commenting further until we've gotten to playtest these.
