Hardcore PathOfExile2

For god's sake , at least 1 day of SC to get used to pace and mechanics.

Best fun you can have is play hardcore blind from start!

There is nothing better than ending the campaign as a hardcore player, knowing nothing about any monster, zone or boss!

Thats a feeling you wont ever be able to replicate later. I recommend every hc player to do this, even if you die 45 times. At least for the campaign, thats totally worth it in these kind of games. Its a unique opportunity you have only when a game like this is released, once in a decade chance.

I did it in Diablo 3, did it in PoE 1. No regrets. After many years playing the games, those early hardcore moments are still very deep in my heart. Those feelings can not be replaced by anything. And, sadly, they can only be repeat in moments like these releases. Don't lose on the unique opportunity to experiment this.

"There is nothing better than winning in the lottery... " seems on the same level of likelihood given the game will be overloaded with people causing lag, with broken skills... crashes.. not best moment for HC.

Yeah absolutely man, very good point.

Anyway, I still insist it worth it. If you play sc first, then you will never experiment the blind run and the amazing feeling it provides. I would rather get some deaths cause lag. Being a new, beta experience anyway, dont matter much, its more like an experiment and discovery than a race.

AND if that absolutely bothers me, I still prefer to play hardcore, what I would do is wait a week or two, dont look videos etc, and just start in hardcore when the servers stabilize a bit.

Just my opinion. Experimenting the game on hardcore as the first playthrough can't compare with absolutely anything.

You guys never get laid do you

Is that really the best SC-answer you can do?

Alpha softcore gamer lol

But certainly more than you
I'll be chilling on sc for a bit, figure out a tree that is not completely horrible. Reroll on hc during vacation, soonTM.
I could never and will never play HC in any game. I simply lack the mindset, focus and commitment to that play style. Once I die, and I always do quite fast, I just lose the motivation to repeat.
Having to repeat the whole boss after dying is already enough to give me PTSD, but at least I won't be forced to relevel if I play softcore.

That being said, I do like the enthusiasm of HC fans. Good luck.....you'll need it.

You're probably the most respectful SC player in the forums
Thank you bro
No harm in starting HC since there is no league, you just end up in SC anyways after dying.

I honestly wish they would go back to that for leagues, too. It never hurt anything to start a league back in the day in HC just to see how far you could make it. That was a cool feature I wish they would re-implement back into the game.
Obviously the game itself is hard and all that, but I'd also expect server trouble.. and maybe ddos attempts by the Blizzard kitchen staff.
