POE 2 Ultrawide Support

As 21:9 user i can tell game treats me as if i m using 16:9 or 16:10. Even if i see side of screen my ranged abilities are not hitting them. I believe it is something with game code.

But funny enough at the same range sometimes Monsters are sending me projectiles and i get hit.
I would like to add my vote that we get native 32:9 support in the game directly from the PoE 2 developers. Someone (not on the dev team) has already created a fix for this, so I know it's possible. Howevever, anyone who uses it is marked as "cheating." Meanwhile, other MUCH older isometric games like Grim Dawn, Torchlight II/III, Van Helsing I/II/III, and Titan Quest as well as newer games like No Rest for the Wicked, and most notably Last Epoch--a direct competitor to PoE 2--ALL support it natively with zero black bars on the sides of the screen.

The game's still in early access, so there's no reason they can't add this on their docket of things to support.

Thanks.

One could assume that since it's flagged as cheating, the developers view being able to see the extra screen real estate as not intended and unwanted. So in their mind, they wouldn't be "fixing" the issue, they would be enabling people with UW monitors to get a competitive advantage.

I want to be able to have the game fill my monitor as well, for aesthetic reasons. I don't care about the competitive advantage that UW offers, but I do recognize that it exists.

What exactly is "competitive" about a game that's essentially a single-player or co-op experience? I don't see PvP as a legitimate reason to gatekeep people with ultrawide monitors. There isn't any "competitive" advantage since there isn't any significant player-versus-player interactions in this game. As I stated before, you can look at virtually every single other isometric game ever made out there (including ones that are quite old), and all of them support ultrawide gaming. Heck, even Diablo 2, made in the era of 800x600 resolutions and "technically" impossible to re-code for wider screens got a re-make with Diablo 2: Resurrected and offers *some* support for ultrawide monitors (21:9). There is no excuse for these devs not to, using modern hardware, at least try to integrate it into their game.

If there's any time to get them to at least test the viability of it, it's during early access--hence the ask.
